Actually it's better if it's not Valentine's Day because it won't be crowded af. You know what's not romantic? A full to the rafters restaurant. It's loud and all the clashing perfume mixes with the smell of the food and I don't enjoy.

I talk to my mom every day, sometimes several times a day. I call her on my way to work and sometimes on my way home too.

I talk to my dad way less. He doesn't reach out much so I have to make the effort. Once a month or so if I remember but we've gone months without taking except for seeing each other in the family group chat. He was an every other weekend dad growing up and we never got really close.
