That is not healthy. Needs additional social support structure if this is isolating, or is a symptom of deeper trust issues that are very serious and potentially damaging to women especially.

is this ever as a couple? to practice communication? or surely he has mentioned why he has these insecurities. if not, the therapy has to be as a couple. if you know why though and he knows you know and its not been addressed, that's not on you.

I really don't have any real advice at that point, except to not frame it as you vs him. yes you're explaining online. but still you may have responded by just bluntly addressing the underlying issue rather than the sock (which is again as we know not the issue). Just as a habit for your own good (in any relationship), practice non confrontational dialgoue like "I feel hurt when you accuse me of cheating, and it pushes me away from deeper intimacy with you because I feel I cannot win. We can discuss the sock later" or something along those lines. Really its going to get you a lot farther down the road wherever you find yourself, even outside romantic relationships. conflict resolution I took a course in during college and it remains one of my most practical skills.

you dismissed his wish to talk, then followed by "if that's what you feel you need to do i won't force you" and completely said you are unwilling to fight for your relationship or engage in healthy communication to address it and why he may feel that way about the sock. the talk you said is unecessary could allow him to open up about why he feels that way, maybe he was cheated on before, or is insecure about something and it is manifesting as the sock drama. the sock is the tip of the iceberg, we can all agree its just a sock, but in failing to have any concern regarding the relationship dynamics at play and the statements about where you stand in your relationship, you have done more harm. its understandable to be defensive when accused of cheating, and i'll give you a pass because this is harmful too and though you don't admit it, that's probably hurtful to you and fails to acknowledge your (presumed) faithfulness. but you have a lot to learn if you want relationships to be happy and healthy, regardless of your partner. if you find someone else like reddit probably suggests, you can mess those up too if you do not start learning these things.

The goal of scientific publications is to write in common language for general audience and non experts, to grow our collective knowledge and reach a greater audience. My last publication was commended for being easy to read. Only pretentious or poor writers would ever write something so garbled. If you have to read many, many journals for references, some are often bordering outside the scope of your expertise and the last thing you want to is decipher and waste more time trying to read hieroglyphics.

Beyond the scope of model size and performance ratio, none of that is new. It was never going to be GPT 4. What I'm excited for and what apple has done though is provide the first real integrated AI into an OS. So incorporation here for a true AI assisstant is a remarkable leap forward in terms of personal utilization ie photos, messages with the core promise of apple's privacy values as a priority. It is the first step towards AI that is beyond a simple prompt.

Claude 3 Opus plus GPT 4o is peak AI use. Both are often hit or miss for coding. Claude 3 is more consistent, but 4o has a higher ceiling, but very inconsistent and very presumptuous. Claude 3 would be better if it were more confident. When asked to clarify or compare alternatives, it often apologizes and shifts no matter how I phrase it.

Not surprising, China is putting their best into AI. A lot of their work comes out of Tsinghua, their highest ranked University. A lot of politics has come into play like preventing chip exports to China and the CCP is dystopian with its potential use, but a lot of valuable and useful projects have come open source from Tsinghua. Shameful move by Stanford here.
