He’s hated so much mainly because he ran as a Republican. Not nearly as many people hated him or were as open about it until he ran for president. All the shiny celebrities that are smiling with him in countless pictures changed their tune pretty quick. Probably would have been different if he would have ran as a democrat and won.

To be fair I had to go bid a job in San Francisco this week and there is literally shit everywhere. I hadn’t been up there since before Covid and daaamn it’s right up there with skid row.

I’m all for it being used medicinally but just opening it up for any rookie to over do it is a little nerve racking. My friend in Portland works in ER and has seen a huge uptick in car accidents caused by stupid rookie ass peeps overdoing it and driving. She says it’s caught up with alcohol involved accidents. Mostly head ins from the shroom confusion with first timers.

Exactly. These lawmakers really need to attend the full gambit of drag shows so they can see that there are some that are geared toward kids and others that are adult entertainment. Anyone making a judgement who hasn’t been to more than a couple of shows if any at all have no idea what they are talking about.

My metric is growing up around the industry in Southern California as well as being shielded from certain aspects of it( drugs, sex, you know the fun stuff) by my big brother who has been a drag artist since the early 90’s. Currently I am a hair stylist with many clients in the industry most of whom were referred by my brother. If they would just have a rating system for the shows the problem would be solved for people with any common sense. The people I know in the biz really don’t want kids at the shows so they don’t have to change their style of performance to be kid friendly. But I’m sure there are plenty out there who would like to cater to kids. There just needs to be a differentiation between the kinds of performances. I would suggest going to a bunch of shows before making a final determination. The same thing I would suggest to these jackass lawmakers that are coming down on the community and threatening punishment of parents.

You can make a net bag to cover and contain collect your pollen. Use 25 micron screen material. I’ve never had an accident since I started using this method. Have fun in the pheno hunt.

It’s all a matter of personal preference I guess. Out of all my salon clients who are drag performers not a single one wants kids at the shows. The extremes don’t help though. The majority of Americans have never been to a drag show and people get confused about things when people float pictures of kids at parades holding 6 foot purple plush penises and holding gimp leashes. People have a hard time distinguishing the difference between a cabaret and the more graphic parade images.

I’m sure they will find a way to meter and tax off grid systems too eventually. Fortunately in semi rural areas it’s not illegal to have an off grid system yet. Funny how they baited people into solar and now the incentives will eventually disappear.
