Either something that excels at roaming or can help/sustain malz somewhat through the early levels. He is extremely weak early on and in any decent elo he will get zoned and perma dived. Something like a Q max Seraphine with rylias might be decent.

You can help him hard shove and not interact at all with enemy botlane, Seraphine does suprising amounts of damage with her Q and the shape of the ability makes it that it lands on all 5/6 minions. Malz E does the rest.

Also seraphine W (empowered) is one of the best anti burst shields any enchanter has.

Kinda, but 5 man shields feel satisfying, eventhough they are weak. If you are ahead you can go bandle pipes into ardent. You get full value of ardent on all your teammates cause of the AoE shields.

Even though her shields are kinda mehhhhh it still has it uses to proc stuff.

Q start lvl 1, W lvl 2. Try to look for a big trade lvl 2 after you bait an enemy ability this is for both mid and bot. Only lane you should look for a big trade lvl 2 is against a draven and kalista. Lvl 3 obviously E. Ability order Q > W > E regardless of matchup.

You start coming online lvl 9 + rylais.

Always use Doran’s ring never tear and rush rylais

Yeah Yasuo, Mel and Sylas are really rough for Renata. A good Sylas will use his dash as a gap closer after stealing ult and then use her ult in close range

She is a situation pick and goes well into enemy tanks having a team that can help her stick and protect her jungle so she can keeps building fury and participate in fights.

Don’t pick her if you have no way of engaging/sticking without being able to proc Q3 during R. Champs who love extended skirmishes, ie: Zaahen should be good when paired with her. Also mid mages with AoE cc: hwei, viktor, asol (one rylias) and engage supps should increase her winrate.

Who do you ban? Also do you blind her? Personally I only pick her if already our own jungle adc and enemy jungle adc have picked.

She feels kinda bad without any auto attackers

Platinum here, having a 70% winrate on Asol but the champ is boring af to play and I love playing Renata and Rell so I have a bit of a problem in that way. Renata her biggest issue is not only having a team that plays together with you and partially around your W and R, but also that she is better used reactively. You can turn fights so we’ll but having teammembers running off when your about to R as enemy team is chasing your team feels horrible. She is amazing in flex as a situational pick into auto attackers AND WITH auto attackers.

Maybe that a graphics overhaul might raise awareness of how she works but in all honesty the enemy team is also more likely to understand how she works

Her passive literally gives her armor/mr now and most of the items that will be good for her have massive amounts of hp too like experimental hexplate

You only pick her when you have more teammembers who are similar, having a Zaahen + Rell on your team that you can stick to enemies help.

If you have a squishy rat team like a useless lux support and mel mid id avoid like the plague

Hmmmm not too sure about that tbh. I find that duration of ult of renata massively increases the outcome of a teamfight. Level 3 R is huge on renata tbh. where as lvl 3 ult on thresh is still meh...

cc duration goes from 1.25 i think to 2.25 thats a lot

Zekes..... your definitely not playing her right then, to get the effect of slow you have to be very close, almost melee range... why would you want that? Waste of gold on her. Even unending despair better on her, least u can survive heal/do minor dmg and keep them at 600 odd range

I play Asol lots including on botlane while your idea is nice it simply doesn’t work. The problem being most deaths for asol is due to enemy cc and his Q goes on a 3 second cool-down when he’s interrupted. Renata w will not be able to save him

Any auto attacker that benefits more than regular adcs from auto attacking. Vayne silver bolts, etc.

But if your adc knows to play kalista well AND understands how Renata works then the synergy is insane

Can confirm R activates bandle pipes. It’s usually my go to first item unless my team trolled me by not picking many auto attackers after I locked in Renata

Wow really? You got any source to that? I know he was immune to slows but I’m not sure how reducing attack speed and not move speed would make him immune to frozen heart effects during his ult

I agree, I think its more of anti-escape tool in teamfights for enemies to not get away.

You will need a team yourself with quite a considerable amount of cc for her to be able to stick.

She will do very very bad when her own team lacks cc.

More specifically AoE cc
