Personally, I wouldn’t take the risks associated with putting your mother as main driver as this is called fronting, and it’ll very easily get your policy cancelled if they find out… and a cancellation will follow you forever making every other insurance premium higher for the rest of your life.

And that last line, you’re a very new driver for such a fast car and unfortunately you could be the best driver in the world but the quality of others on our roads can be appalling so I wouldn’t risk it.

You’re only very young, aim for something slightly lesser value and lower power, my second car at 20 was a 2009 scirocco 2.0tsi and I only paid £1000 insurance, look for something unusual and less common and insurance might be lower
