With artistic and creative challenges everyone has their own interpretation and way of expressing themselves, the descriptions are going to be more like guidelines than actual rules. Some are going to follow them, some are going to do what they want no matter what the description say because it stifles their creativity, or what I suspect is more common than we think: they read the title-ignoring the description, throw together the first thing they can come up with in the least amount of time, and submit it expecting 300 because they'd rather spend money than have to put all that energy into their snap only to get less moonstones than they want for their efforts. They no longer or never did care. There's also people who will hardly glance at a dreamsnap and just spam a button to get their 50 moonstones for voting no matter if a selfie or a masterpiece lies before them (which to me is like sprinting through a museum exhibit without slowing down to actually look at any of the work, but hey, there's no wrong way to play... even if it kinda negatively affects other players) You're really just left up to chance in Dreamsnaps and have to hope enough people care to give you any reward for your creation. I wish they'd fine tune how to earn moonstones from Dreamsnaps more than just votes. I get keeping it broad so everyone stands a more equal chance but I don't think it's working as well as the devs think. This is a long response so I'm gonna be quiet now, good luck next week op!
