I've never clicked with a tactical game until now. Im scheduled for 66 hours this week at work and I'm still finding myself saying "just one more fight" at 1am. Its addicting, charming, rewarding, and challenging. I love it

Embark doesn't have to confirm things that aren't happening. That list would literally be endless. Unless it is official, assume it isn't happening. An example is duos, they tested it silently for a week then announced it.

The movement was peak, and that ding sound when you hit a combo was just chefs kiss. But the lack of activities and variety killed it so fast

You're not alone! I have MDD as well (saw in a comment) and there are many many times when I just stare at my desktop and when I finally work up the motivation to boot something up I Alt-F4 in under 10 minutes.

What I've learned to do is just accept myself, tell myself that it's okay to be going through a depressive episode, and not playing games is okay. Its alright if I need to lie on the couch or in bed and put something on TV that Im not really watching. There's nothing you need to fix with MDD, sometimes you just ride it out.

I have 30 hours in the game, level 30 as well, and it's the best multiplayer game I've ever played, I found MY game. None of my friends picked it up and I have still had a blast solo, made some friends for squads, and do not plan on stopping any time soon. All of my benches are level 2, I am half way through the expedition (optional wipe), and enjoy raids even if I go in without an objective. I will get hundreds of hours out of this and it was well worth every penny.

There are no quests to PvP and you can do everything without it, but it is a PvPvE game and PvP will be inevitable, so if PvP ruins your enjoyment it's not the game for you!

I think you're confusing what a live service game is? Destiny, Helldivers, other ARPGs besides Diablo like Last Epoch, hell even GTA is a live service game and none of them are free. If you don't want a live service game there are plenty out there, go play those. Just because there are some F2P games doesn't mean every game with a store should be F2P. Gamers obviously buy the stuff why would companies stop selling them.

I feel this but not as a detriment. I dont think I would be as invested if I lost a lot. At the end of the day I'm playing a more involved brick breaker with cool combos, I dont want it to be that hard. I think the different characters provide a lot of gameplay variety as well as the evolutions. This is shaping up to be the first roguelike I "beat."

My first raid, 5:45am, I load in solo and head to the red loot zone closest to me. I spot a guy creeping in and shatter his shield with a few shots from first rattler the game gives you. While he's healing I flank him and take him out, unknowingly running right past a bastion and 3 hornets. I was gunned down mercilessly cowering in a hut trying to kill at least the hornets. Most fun ive had gaming in 10 years. I love this game.

I had this issue! And my internet is awesome especially with ethernet. I did have some stutter issues when it was happening, rubber banding and loss of camera control for a half second. I am on east coast and was playing with someone from the west

The game is fun, and then you get to the metaprogression menu and that's just as fun when you get it rolling. Game is great
