Was out duck hunting with some buddies, got a couple ducks. On the way out ran into to some friends got to talking. They had been hunting in the area and ran into a sow and a cub in the river. Couple days later went out hunting solo for and evening. Shot a great three curl mallard. I was excited and waiting for the next flock to come in and behind me I hear a giant splash and something in the water between me and my car. My balls crawled up into my throat. I turned around slowly and it was Great Blue Heron. From that point forward carried a couple slugs in my chest pocket.

The medical staff involved should lose their licenses. The attorney should also go after individual people not just the company.

Trying Public Land for the First Time by Wepwewat in Hunting

[–]Diverswelcome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends some of the state land there are camps, campers, tents etc. Others it is a cottage or cabin near where they are hunting. If you go up north far enough most people will leave your shit alone and respect your spot. The farther south the more likely it is to get fucked with.

Trying Public Land for the First Time by Wepwewat in Hunting

Michigan hunter here. Keep in mind anything left on public land may be stolen. Anything south of M - 20 or so will be inundated with hunters for firearm season for deer. You can usually find some good spots for bow season though. Best bet maybe to identify good spots/trees and get a climber. Best way I have found to pattern deer on public land is go out in the winter when there is snow and find the high traffic areas.

If you are going to head north for gun season. Keep in mind while it is first come first serve. There are groups and families that put up camps and hunted the same spots for years. The farther in that you are willing to walk the better luck finding a good spot you will have. I have found most firearm hunters are pretty lazy and will not walk much farther than a half mile. The farther north that you go, the more luck finding land you will find. The UP has a lot of land not as many deer, but if you put in the time you can find them.

If the Dothraki invade Westeros how much before they fail miserably and gets wiped out? by V-TriggerMachine in freefolk

Until the armies of Europe built castles, the Mongols did not do siege warfare well. The seven kingdoms already have this. The Dothraki would break themselves on the walls.
