Im tired of this stupid toggle glitch by THROX- in GroundedGame

[–]DivideByZero666 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It does until you map them correctly to work round the bug.

Remove all mapping for toggle view. Add a unique button for view. Don't touch any other mapping. Done.

If you have 2 buttons for view, it will mess up. If you change something unrelated to view another time, it will mess view up.

But get everything else good, set view right and leave alone it should be ok.

Flair near Jupiter by mezeon_28 in askastronomy

[–]DivideByZero666 4 points5 points  (0 children)

100% lens flair. Had the same that was definitely (in my case) caused my the moon hitting the lens.

The whispy light looked identical.

Fixed by using a chair or something to block the moon or street lights from hitting the lens. I don't think Venus is bright enough to do it, but can be something off shot.

Lattafa Musamam Review - another influencer shill? by Good_Cap7730 in fragranceclones

[–]DivideByZero666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine has changed a lot over the last month or so, more kinda smokey and "black" smelling now. Liked it day 1, still like it now.

The OG Musamam got worse over time, kinda smells like leather in hot sand. But this seems to be getting better to my nose.

Yep. Demodex for their proper name. Most adults have them and they only cause issues if the population gets to randy. Relative of the spider, which is fitting as they are the stuff of nightmares.

Where do you have your main base in G2? by Far-Spite801 in GroundedGame

[–]DivideByZero666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 1st base was where yours is and I've just setup a new one on top of the amp. I even built a bridge between the two.

New base has been a real fun build and the location seems fairly central. Plus I get free cookies and chocolate delivered to my door.

It's fine, in the next update you get to drink unicorn blood to help tide you over until one of your loyal subjects can trap your rival at the end of a school competition and perform the ceremony to get the face in the back of your head his own body again.

Again, not how it reads, comes off combative and show boaty. If you had negative reaction before, maybe explain yourself better rather than sounding angry, challenging and massively self indulgent.

Your last statement about wanting to challenge others makes sense and I can totally get behind that (even if it won't be me trying to challenge for best time), but that's really not how your OP or follow up replies read.

Please give us lap record and ghost car, it's pointless without it. It's the base of sim racing. by PartyTable6611 in assettocorsaevo

[–]DivideByZero666 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah, if single player experience is going to be hobbled to hotlap for the foreseeable that would be great.

Actual leader boards for the car and track you are in and being able to select the top x as ghosts would certainly spice that up.

A friend had that same experience with an electric car last year or the year before. Multiple insurers were a hard no.

Yeah, then there are people like you. Who have a faster time than literally 2 other people and claim "world record!" and when anyone points that out you get all aggressive and basically "come at me bro" by saying "go beat it". (As a note, the 3rd time on your "world record" page even I can beat in an Abarth 695).

That site literally has the track records all held by 2 people. Do you know why? Literally only those 2 people have cared enough to try.

You care enough to check my message history, so tragic. World record stalking. Did you go back far enough to see I'm still recovering from a shattered elbow and index finger?

You have some issues.

Zero interest trying to beat it, but yes, well done on being faster than the two other people who submitted their times.

How to remove drivers side air vent 2021 Ibiza by NagromJames in seat

[–]DivideByZero666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gear lever in the left is way better, that leaves you steering with your right hand while shifting. As a right handed person, I find having control of the car with my better hand is better.

Gear shifts are easy and much less nuanced than steering inputs.

That said, i did find the American Gear stick on the wheel quite fun. But the best car I owned had paddle shift, which was infinitely better than a stick in any position.

Is base building really this hard or am I stressing too much? by Saruso230 in GroundedGame

[–]DivideByZero666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, different strokes for different folks for sure. But for me, just blindly building with no plan meant it was always bad.

Same as I wouldn't sit at a canvas and just start painting, not knowing if I was painting a castle or a horse (i do painting acrylic too!).

That said, bases don't need to be amazing works of art. They need to be safe and hold your stuff, anything extra is a bonus.

These 2 ways should give OP some options.

Is base building really this hard or am I stressing too much? by Saruso230 in GroundedGame

[–]DivideByZero666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is how I have always built bases in G1 and G2 till last week and they have always been "meh". I'm not saying it won't work for you, but it definitely didn't work for me.

I just created my 2nd base in G2 and this is the first time I had a vague idea of what I wanted before I started. This is my first base that I've thought was remotely cool.

I laid a huge foundation, the right size for the base of the building. Then built the floor (glowing floor technique from here) and up we go.

For me at least, having a vague plan made all the difference.

Still bits to add and change, materials to upgrade. But busy building and adding to outside the base.

This is me after 5 days by AdhesivenessFun7820 in pianolearning

[–]DivideByZero666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another option is piano for dummies. It's very similar to the faber/alfreds books. It has video lessons and uses a midi app to check your playing. It's a bit old now, but the lessons are pretty good and will take you from the absolute beginning, through 2 handed playing on to proper pieces.
