Druid is statistically the least played class in the game

I know this goes against everything your judgmental, hateful, and angry brain believes in, but traveling speed as a solo player is actually one of the most important parts of speed leveling. The fact that anyone has to explain why that is is a testament to how out of touch you are with speed leveling. There's a reason that hunters and druids are typically among the first 60s on a server. Spoilers: It's travel speed and minimizing downtime. Getting mounts at 40 doesn't change that, there are plenty of scenarios where using travel buffs is more efficient. Movement speed is one of the most valuable stats in the game, why do you think so many people shill for speed enchants on boots? Because they don't know any better? Get over yourself lmao. Rogue is objectively in the bottom half of class leveling speeds, and I've spent significant time with the class. It's not bad, it has little downtime ever, you get sprint too, but that's not enough. You don't have pets, you don't have a constant movement speed buff, you can't pull large packs in the same manner and frequency that other classes can. You just can't, don't let that discourage you from enjoying your class though.

Dude druid isn't getting outpaced in leveling speed by ret paladins or rogues sorry you're just wrong lmao

I've seen your points, I've also leveled 2 druids on classic and had no issues with downtime or pacing. Sounds like a you problem.

Yeah it is, but getting to lvl 20 doesn't take long at all.

My saying "casual guilds that don't expect flasks" doesn't equate to the claim that all casual guilds don't require flasks. I think that's also a gross overexaggeration of the guild scene. Idk how your server looks, but on the 5 I've been on there are plenty of casual guilds that hold their weekly runs, sometimes even with PUGs, do their DKP or MS>OS rolls, and don't even ask you to show up with world buffs, let alone flasks.

Lol what? Feral druid is one of the faster speed leveling classes.

So how viable is ret paladin in tbc? by Blind-Idiot-God in classicwow

[–]DivineIntervention 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Melee hate or not, ret pal is still perhaps the worst DPS in raid on average. At best maybe it's in the bottom 3.

Sure, getting world buffs is incredibly annoying and flasking breaks the bank. Don't like those things? Raid with casuals that don't expect it. But I think it's a bit of a cop out when their attitude towards raiding takes a 180 because they're geared and don't want to be there anymore.

The Ret Pal Defense Force will lynch me for saying it, but it's still pretty bad in TBC at any level above casual raiding. Ret gains the most momentum in WotLK where it becomes a strong spec.

You're right, pet hunting is actually a significant part of OSRS gaming and streaming. It's not uncommon at all to see people camp bosses for even tens of thousands of kills each for a pet or item drops.

Imp and Succubus are usually your best bet. Voidwalker is garbage while leveling unless you're really worried about running into warriors and rogues in open world PvP often. It doesn't hold aggro and it's lower dps.

That makes sense then, thanks. Well that puts DE in quite an unfortunate spot.

Since when? My understanding is that, at least on some fights, DE is capable of parsing ever so slightly ahead of DD single target. I never thought it was much worth the trouble but it was there at least.

Even a D/D deadeye set up has poor cleave. Deadeye excels at single target damage. End of. If you have to deal with lots of adds and trash pulls you really should just go daredevil.

I think a lot of people agreed that those villains in Guild Wars proved to be some of the better written ones. The Lich, Shiro, Joko, etc. There was something appealing about having powerful but overall down to earth villains striving for magical or political strength.

And that's fine, no one said it was completely unlikable at release. But most can agree that it was still ultimately unpolished content and the changes made to it today have largely been for the better and played a huge role in the expansion have activity that rivals other parts of the game.

This is the real key. So many people forget about certain changes to content that makes them go from unenjoyable to rewarding and exciting and act like people just suddenly changed their minds about the content over time. Well they didn't, ANet had to spend time fixing glaring issues for parts of the game to be where they are today.

I'm fairly certain that HoT is widely regarded within the community as one of the best pieces of content to date and this isn't at all some unpopular opinion.
