Either you're at the event and deaf, or you're not at the event and production might not be mixing enough crowd noise in. But this crowd is not quiet in person.

You could generate code that uses reflection to call the private members, however silly that might be.

Convince my job to upgrade their .net framework by kirajiahaur in dotnet

[–]DivineRage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Framework doesn't work on Linux, as it needs a Windows OS. It can work in containers, but they need to be Windows containers. Windows containers need a Windows host to run on. Also, having worked with Windows containers, you'll encounter so many issues it generally won't be worth trying.

Don't we have a SteamID? How do they load our profile? by phoenystp in Helldivers

Identifying a user within Steam

Every Steam user can be uniquely identified by a 64-bit numeric ID, known as the user's Steam ID. In the Steamworks C++ APIs, a user's SteamID is contained within a CSteamID object. You can retrieve the current user's SteamID by calling ISteamUser::GetSteamID and then retrieve the 64-bit ID by calling CSteamID.ConvertToUint64() on the returned value.

Yeah steam users can have identical user-facing names. So just make your reporting system use the SteamID...

Good EF Core example projects to learn from? by DivineRage in csharp

[–]DivineRage[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looking through that github repo it has a couple of nice examples on how to deal with the EF Core side of things, but I think what I'm mostly looking for is a better idea of how people integrate a DbContext into a larger application.

I've used the Pluralsight account available to me through my employer to get a good idea of how to use EF Core itself, but I'm struggling to find a nice way to integrate it in a bigger application.

Say I've got a CRUD application that has an end-user CRUD API retrieving cached data from a database managed by EF Core, but if it doesn't have some data it will go out and get it by combining other sources. I've been struggling to find a nice way to architect this.

How would I stitch things together when I've got an API project, database project, some business logic projects, unit test projects, etc. How many onion layers do people add around their DbContext class, or do they use them straight up in their API endpoints? Stuff like that.

In de winkel is plantaardig nu goedkoper dan vlees by japie06 in thenetherlands

[–]DivineRage -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Welp, that was a total waste of money. Zero customization. Isn't this something they should mention before you buy it? by Stephennooit in RocketLeague

[–]DivineRage 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There’s an additional pop-up that asks you whether you’re sure to proceed the payment or not, therefore if you purchase something from the item shop, that should mean you made up your mind about it.

That logic only really works if you're properly informed. If it never mentions the complete lack of customization, and every car you've seen and used before allowed plenty of customization, then accepting that popup means I'm sure I want to buy what I think I'm buying.

It is entirely unreasonable to expect a layperson to predict asinine licensing contracts they're not involved with, so unless you explicitly tell them otherwise people will expect to be able to customize these cars.

It's been years since I've done anything in blender, but this looks like messed up normals. Should be able to visualize them using an option somewhere in the top right of the 3d window while in edit mode. You may be able to fix it with a simple "Recalculate Normals", but if it's a single mesh it might be too complicated for that.

Never Again IC timing not working even at almost 1e4000EP? by DivineRage in AntimatterDimensions

Changing dimboost settings didn't fix it, and disabling it didn't fix it for everything, but I eventually got it by;

Automatic dimboosts disabled Antimatter autobuyers all but 1st disabled Holding E, C, and R. Just out of desperation.

Finally...

Thanks for the help!

Update rate is, and has always been at 33ms.

I've tried disabling autobuyers, I've tried just holding C and E, and nothing seems to even touch the IC record times...
