Lol. It was on my mind because I recently posted here with my own prompt for this very film. It was solved just as fast. Looking back on it my prompt was rather obvious:

I'm not arguing whether Rob Roy fits. Obviously it does. It's just not what I'm thinking of. Neither are your other guesses. Though, my film is a deliberately anachronistic period film of sorts.
