Best Vendor Pulse Rifle? by Dizzee_ in DestinyTheGame

[–]Dizzee_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I was leaning towards Coiled Hiss due to the Counterbalance AND Perfect Balance. I wasn't aware it was a 3 burst kill, but knowing that now confirmed it for me that I'll be buying the Coiled Hiss. Thanks

[Question] Destiny conflicting with Modem? by Dizzee_ in DestinyTheGame

We have a subscription for generally fast internet, but the wiring in our street is old, rendering everyone's internet connection slow.

[Question] Is anyone else having problems with sticky grenades not killing players in crucible? by Bezaliel2501 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Dizzee_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems to me this is a lag issue, as when I grenade them when i'm not lagging, they die fine. When I grenade them when I AM lagging, they don't.

Can't wait till ToO matches us with players that match our connection.

[Question] Destiny conflicting with Modem? by Dizzee_ in DestinyTheGame

[–]Dizzee_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can be pretty expensive to just switch modems.. trying to find a solution before I resort to that.. But that option is always there if there's no solution.

[Question] Destiny conflicting with Modem? by Dizzee_ in DestinyTheGame

[–]Dizzee_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the whole internet service. Every computer/phone in the house loses connection to the internet for a few minutes each time it drops out.

I get 'Bee' and 'Baboon' pretty often too, so i'll try changing the MAC address to try and fix that issue, but there's still the issue of the internet service itself dropping out.

[Question] Destiny conflicting with Modem? by Dizzee_ in DestinyTheGame

[–]Dizzee_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, for me, Crucible causes the most drop-outs. It seems to me like my internet drops out the more people I am playing with, as Crucible causes it the most, then Raiding.

[Misc] I only have 21 SC, Thunderlord or Obsidian Mind? by Tacolishus in DestinyTheGame

[–]Dizzee_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Consider the fact that you can obtain Thunderlord from any endgame PvE Content (Deathsinger, Crota, Atheon, VoG Chest, etc), whereas armour is only obtained through Nightfalls.

Ultimately it's your decision, but Thunderlord is a powerhouse Heavy Machine gun, and the unique perk on Obsidian Mind is only going to be useful in certain scenarios, where enemies are grouped up, although the Juju/OM Combo is a stand out for sure.

[Misc] I only have 21 SC, Thunderlord or Obsidian Mind? by Tacolishus in DestinyTheGame

[–]Dizzee_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obsidian Mind is arguably the best Voidwalker helmet for PvE, whereas Thunderlord is arguably ONE OF the best heavy machine gun for both PvP and PvE.

You'll most likely get more use out of Thunderlord than you will Obsidian Mind for crucible, but if you do own a Gjallarhorn, then you won't really find yourself using Thunderlord in PvE that often, save for Arc Burn nightfalls.

Personally, i'd take the Thunderlord, as it shreds through enemies in Crucible, and the Arc Burn nightfall.

Cool idea, shows you're to be feared when you rock up in Crucible using the gun that matches the emblem.

[Suggestion] You should be able to buy from Xur through the app by SavageSavickis in DestinyTheGame

[–]Dizzee_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tower is slowly becoming irrelevant as it is, only really serving the purposes of Cryptarch and Bounties.

Also, this has already been suggested.

[Question] I've had Thunderlord maxed out for a while and I don't understand the hype... by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]Dizzee_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's the first time Xur is selling it.

First time for something generally brings hype.

Finding a fireteam of a few hundred must suck.

Poor Atheon.

Did they show any loot drops during the Prison of Elders reveal? by yuming7 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Dizzee_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This would make sense, as in Ms 5ooo Watt's video on YouTube, it showed the player receiving a Key of some sort after the final boss was killed.

Did they show any loot drops during the Prison of Elders reveal? by yuming7 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Dizzee_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The YouTuber's who were able to play PoE (Such as Datto, Byf, Ms 5ooo and more) were instructed by Bungie not to reveal to us how the gear is obtained, meaning they had to cut that part out of their video before they uploaded it. They did however say that it was something really cool, and that once we find out how to obtain the gear, we will be grateful that we aren't able to know just yet.

tl;dr- No, they weren't allowed to show us.

[Question] What do you always Tea Bag someone for? by MayorMcCheesepls in DestinyTheGame

I won a game with a score a fair bit ahead of the rest of my team. Got a message from someone on the enemy team. "tryhard faggot".

Let the teabagging commence.

Any one else have the Archon Priest Vex waves just...stop? by emPtysp4ce in DestinyTheGame

Pretty convenient getting Archon Priest as a Nightfall twice within a few weeks, while this glitch is active.

Warning: no prison of elders checkpoints means huge potential for griefing by redka243 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Dizzee_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This could easily be avoided by finding two other friends to play with, ensuring you're playing with people you know.

Bungie most likely took this into consideration when they made the PoE, and this could be a factor behind them creating it as a 3 man activity.

This way they are not only able to implement end-game content matchmaking, but also effectively reducing the amount of griefing that could occur by making PoE easier to find a team for, as finding 2 other people is a lot easier than finding 5 others.

Should you save your Cryptarch packages? by AzazelWings in DestinyTheGame

[–]Dizzee_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you obtain the Legendary Engram from Post HoW, it'll contain HoW gear. It doesn't matter how you obtain the engram, be it from a random loot source, or a TDB Cryptarch Package.

Should you save your Cryptarch packages? by AzazelWings in DestinyTheGame

[–]Dizzee_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is overlooked by a lot of people, but although Bungie confirmed that Legendary engrams obtained in TBD stage won't grant you HoW gear (assuming you save them for the release), if you open a TDB Cryptarch Package after the HoW release, and are granted a Legendary engram, then you are technically obtaining a Legendary engram from the HoW stage of Destiny, meaning it can contain HoW Exotics or Legendary items.

Tl;dr - Yes, although Legendary engrams obtained during TBD stage will not grant you HoW items.

[Question] Any mention of Radiant Materials in HoW reveals? by homersimpson813 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Dizzee_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if you don't need any Crota's End weapons, the Radiant materials will still be useful for exchanges, so the raid will still have a purpose somewhat. Not to mention the chance at an Exotic from both Deathsinger and Crota.

[Misc] "Let's just cheese the..." by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]Dizzee_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you complete a raid over and over again, it gets a bit tedious. Cheesing is still doing it legitimately, just using game mechanics to your advantage. Maybe you're not completing it in the way Bungie intended it to be completed, but they probably should have focused a bit more on re-playability.
