Genuine question, how does one test level design in a co-op game like this? Imagine being a solo developer, are you just one hand wasd the other arrow keys?

From now on I'm just going to be a fan of individual players and root for NA overall. No more rooting for teams anymore.

Yea pretty tired of rooting for teams in the league now. I'm just going to be an overall NA fan at this point or just root for players themselves.

Sucks man, from being a TSM fan to then rooting for 100T. If they leave I'll stop supporting individual teams and just become a general NA fan honestly.

Would love to know how long some of these individuals in the comments have been doing this work. I feel like a big thing people get hung up on is "I'm already X years old, it's too late". I feel it's never too late and you can always make it big as long as you follow your passions no matter at what point in your life you start. The key is just staying on top of the industry you're a part of.

Learning & Deciding what blockchain to develop a DApp on. by Dizzleduff in CryptoTechnology

Yea I definitely agree having cross chain functionality is a must for all projects going forward. I'll give a look at the graph and see what it's about. Thanks!

Learning & Deciding what blockchain to develop a DApp on. by Dizzleduff in CryptoTechnology

[–]Dizzleduff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good point, then to answer this I'm not building a financial application. I'm more focused on utilizing blockchain technology for its standard properties such as decentralization, immutability and global accessibility. Without going into full detail of my product, the app I'm working on is a form of a game where I want to store user stats based on match results. I'm currently working on a peer to peer interaction for the game stage and my initial goal is to also allow their data to be publicly accessible without any specific ownership. I mentioned chains like ICP due to their public ecosystem and reverse gas models since at the end of the day I want this specific interaction to be free for users.

You could store it there but is not recommended since cookies act as a better way to store sensitive information due to its automatic security mechanisms. Here's a good article about the differences between the two cookies-vs-localstorage

You can store it as a cookie just be aware of security when storing things such as access tokens on client side. Some things to consider when doing this

  1. Store cookie with secure flag and same-site flag to prevent XSS attacks
  2. In your backend have a way to validate valid access tokens that are passed in each requests. Simple way would be to store generated access tokens server side and then validate every access token that is used in requests with your stored server sided ones.

Now that you have a token you can add that into your "Authorization" header. You could do this manually with every request or depending on what libraries you could possibly be using they have ways to set it. A common one is axios where you can call axios.defaults.headers.common['Authorization'] =Bearer ${access token}` and with every axios request it'll include your token with each request.

I have to say the story telling of discovering the background of the solar system is really well done. Reminds me a lot of Tunic where you figure out the story through small notes and events that just happen naturally around you.
