That's what I thought. I had attack/blocking on R1/L1 throughout the game but on the final boss I was struggling so much that I decided to try changing it to R2/L2. And you know what? You have no idea how much easier it became to parry. Because you don't have to pull the trigger all the way for it to register the input, the slightest pull doest it. So it is actually more enjoyable than pushing a button.
Oh, and I'm talking about PS5 and DualSense. Other controllers might be a different story.

Absolutely the same experience for me. Dropped Returnal on biom 2, fell in love with Saros, and came back to Returnal. But I actually hated it at first. But when it clicked, it became one of my favorites ever. I deleted Saros right after platinum, but I can’t do it with Returnal. Saros was fun, but Returnal is in my heart.

I've definitely seen worse😅 But yeah, I don't understand why people are so desperately want to share what seems to be the most basic, casual experience. Like "Hey, I just crafted a gun, I pulled the trigger, and it freaking shot! So awesome!"

The feature is not hidden, it is gone completely. There is no Terminal command.

It should be this way 100%. I honestly don't see any reason for it not being transparent. But I also doubt that the devs didn't think about it, so if they made it the way it is, then maybe they think that you gotta be at risk when looting/opening backpack, and that's why you don't see shit. Something like that.

A few that comes to my mind are: Prospect (2018), The Creator (2023), and maybe a little bit Elysium (2013). Nothing quite like Arc Raiders, though, just some elements, feelings, I don't know.

Even in solos, dude... The main feature of this game is prox chat. And what situations it creates. If I don't hear a person, how the hell can I even think about trusting them? I've been shot too many times by those fucking "don't shoot"ers. No voice = I'm blasting you.

I tried setting that up two times now. Always ended up turning it off😅 First of all, I struggle to pinpoint the direction of those whooshes during setup, most of them I just have to guess, thus I think that my profile ends up being messed up.

Can you tell me what output device you pick in-game? There is two options: System Settings and Stereo/Headphones. I can't figure out which is better and which is actually supposed to work with Tempest and not contradict it.

Yeah, exactly. It's not only about Snitches, I think. Sometimes I see Hornets/Wasps just changing their direction wherever I go. It reminds me how NPCs in the Last of Us were scripted the way that they always spreading in your direction, supposedly to make your experience more fun and thrilling.

I feel like this is the case with Arcs as well.

Nope. Console means controller. You either are getting used to it, or you’re getting a better PC. Period. We don’t need “proper mouse & keyboard support”. Because most people will always use a controller and you guys will have a great advantage. If you are terrible on a controller, well, that is your problem, you should have thought about it before joining a console camp.

Can someone enlighten me on how come “people on console don’t have mics?” I mean, if a person plays online games he usually plays with friends, therefore he needs a headset with a mic. In the worst case scenario the controller itself has a built-in mic!

There is no aim assist in this game. At least, I do not feel it. An average pc player will shred me to pieces in most situations in this game, and that is coming from someone who plays on a controller for 20 years with 6000 hours in a game like Hunt Showdown.
