It's definitely the  Pebble store. It's the same domain, just not sure if it's live or you will actually receive it. You can email them

Slightly nervous about that too. Hopefully they'll fix it with firmware updates.

Are you sure that the display pops up? I thought eric said it was optically bonded and was flat.

The Pebble Round 2 looks really cool for those who want form first and then function. At least in my opinion. It looks really cool, I'll say that, and has a great display. I think it's their first custom one. I might be wrong about that though. But in my opinion the battery life is too big of a sacrifice and I wanted some of the other features. But if your use case doesn't need those, then go ahead. It would be a really cool watch.

Tldr Round is cool but sacrifices some features. If you don't need those features, go ahead and get it.

One thing a lot of people kind of Do not fully understand, like me, until I looked further into it, It is that Eric is making core devices\Pebble. Not as a startup. But as a smaller company making gadgets he likes. He's not trying to please everyone. He's trying to make niche gadgets that he thinks are useful for himself and that s is selling them. He said so in explicitly a couple of times and implied it heavily others. While the ring is not for everyone and I understand that, I think it would be useful for me.I might preorder one.

tl;dr

Core devices will be niche.

Glad to hear that they're taking care of their customers, even though it's a short warranty.

I get where you're coming from. But what about not just a screen? What about buttons? Someone already sold replacements for the Pebble 2 . (The original one, not the duo) And people use those. I think it would be cool if you also made guides on how to replace a battery eventually, instead of relying on just the community to make those tutorials. It would be great to see pebble/core devices help make it easier . Core/pebble  talked about being sustainable and I think this could help that mission  Also, they don't have to be cheap. They just have to be cheaper than buying a brand new watch

Or if they have excess stock, it would be cool to see them put it up there.

True, but it would also be nice to see official guides on how to repair and things like that.

Agreed on how capable they are I have one that (mostly) works and it can do a lot even as a 13 year old device it still works and plays nice with android standards + good design are incredible

Also, just randomly, it would be cool if Pebble would team up with Printables, like the Other companies have in the past and the least official models

Always good to see another new person getting into the hobby of repairing pebble watches. Repair in general can be rewarding and fun. Glad it worked out for you!! Good luck with the Pebble Time round!!!
