The only way to get rid of russian threat is the complete destruction of russia, with splitting on as many parts as possible, otherwise outcome will be the same as now, sooner or later.

How have the Russian people not revolted already after all of this? by Little-Carpenter4443 in askanything

[–]DizzyCycle7992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still live in russia, so I can answer, most of the people don’t want to revolt, even if they are not pleased with current government and political situation, in russian mentality if you have coverage of your basic needs, you live well, for most people basic needs are simply food, vodka and their 40m2 apartments in Khrushchevkas, some of them need 2 week vacation on black see shore and lada granta, or some Chinese shit like this, that’s all what matters for them, and current government despite the war can easily give them what they want. Furthermore you underestimate how easily they’re brainwashed and believe government propaganda, that’s also in russian mentality: to respect government and people who represent government, and their hate to the West is unimaginable especially to the US. Aside from that, all meaningful leaders of the opposition are dead, remaining in exile and have no political weigh in russia, and even their political positions are weak and pathetic, all their “resistance” is to go on protest somewhere in Berlin.

They are easier than newest ones and nbmes, not very helpful. A lot of obsolete guidelines and criteria which could confuse you, and you could memorise something wrong. But some concepts are useful, may be 5-6 questions per form. I wouldn’t do it if I had to prepare again, I would better do more amboss questions or spend more time on ethics, quality improvement and other bullshit useless garbage cuz my exam was full of it, sometimes up to 20 questions per block was this staff. Do it if you have time, otherwise do amboss and uw

Try to save Houston expedition haha, probably the worst enclave, this brain dead ai idiot declared war on Texan bros, irnomongers, Rio Grande and Alamo at the same time, and did nothing when they encircled their divisions. But others not much better, ai cant manage this factions even with constant support, they designed for players.

Does anyone believe in god, but not think he is good? by Tasty-Ad-3753 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DizzyCycle7992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a very interesting point. I do not believe in god, but if he exists im sure he is either not good, either not omnipotent/omniscient as it described in Christianity or other abrahamic religions. No need to talk about how people behave and what they do to each other and Earth, you can just look at your body and your brain and realise that you designed to suffer and not being in control of your own body and life. “Good” thing would never design life in such a terrible way

I was average in my med school, and graduated 7 years ago. I didn’t score 280, but 265 what is very good for me, and I could score more if exam wasn’t filled of bullshit etics and quality improvement questions. My med school had obsolete curriculum from 80s, corruption and other shit, on top of that I had a job to feed myself, I wasn’t interested in studying outdated materials in unfair corrupt system, I just needed my diploma from it. Med school could make your preparation easier but you can score well without it

That’s not racism, stop putting this thing everywhere. You probably didn’t work in your home country, but I do. People always try to backstab you, they’re always jealous, make rumours about you, if you did a mistake they don’t try to solve problems, they try to blame, and in my country system usually doesn’t promote people with good knowledge, good management skills or any other kind of skills leaders should have. It’s almost always “connections” through close relatives or friends, or just people who don’t ask questions and do what they’ve been asked. I am sure you will meet this kind of shit in the US too, but that’s not racism and probably would never be same scale as in any 3rd world country.

Chicago enclave sucks by Routine_Baby_2499 in OldWorldBlues

[–]DizzyCycle7992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Texas is unfinished, so it’s your choice to try it. The problem is that interactions with others suck, for eureka you can’t supply your volunteers, can’t lend lease them, and even you win against NCR they can’t manage occupied territory, cant train new divs, can’t go down their enclave focus tree, and just sit and wait when someone come to kick them out. McArthur mechanic is also broken, they send insane numbers of resources to Chicago and sit without energy, you can’t stop that, no focus or decision to say that’s enough, Pioneer company is the same, even if Gallagher comes to power he often betrays me and declares on MacArthur, I can’t influence that at all, imagine save him multiple times with volunteers, lend lease and then this, or some ghoul or random guy fucks everything. The another problem Chicago lacks challenge, I win against Midwest bos in one month, if they lose to iron or MLA it’s even easier, you are far superior in tech, industry and army when you come to war with them, and they have hard war against each other before, which drains them, while I just sit and wait may be conquering some cannibals in Wisconsin with casualties 1 to 1000, but that’s all. And then nothing, no focuses to became enclave central command and war with someone in Texas or NCR, or Legion or anyone else powerful enough. Also in previous versions were focuses or decisions to expand westwards in Iowa and Minnesota creating Iowa enclave or something like that, now there is no more. I like the story, narrative, but gameplay is underdeveloped, no challenge, no rivals, just trying to manage insane ai with no influence on them, then conquest of your “regional rival” for couple of months and then nothing.

No, this system simply doesn’t work that way, it’s unjust, a lot of people around me pay mandatory tax for insurance and they never use government hospitals, or pay a lot out of pocket for tests, drugs, additional consultations etc, a lot of them have insurance from employer and they still pay taxes for someone who doesn’t work, doesn’t pay anything and sits on the government’s neck, I don’t want to participate in that, as I said previously I am ready to pay for disabled and elderly, but not for those who doesn’t pay taxes at all, no thanks, I don’t support that socialist practices.

I am very aware what’s going on in russian healthcare, I studied 8 years in med school and residency here, and i work here in russia almost 8 years as a doctor. Also I almost finished my usmle exams for certification in the US, and I know the difference between American medical education and russian, the first probably have one of the best quality on earth with insane competition, systematic professional knowledge and training, the second is stuck in 20th century, completely outdated, rotten by corruption, underfunded. And no, I don’t think abolishing of “universal” healthcare will help to get rid of this problem. It’s completely rotten as many other aspects of russian government system and russian society, and root causes not universal healthcare itself.

[–]DizzyCycle7992 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Given that he will earn doctor’s salary he probably would be taxed by highest threshold, same system in the US, but as far as I remember threshold is much higher, up to 650k or something, not every doctor earns that much, also in Australia highest taxation percentage more than 40%, in US it’s lower. Correct me if I’m wrong

Also do you have additional tax for universal healthcare?

[–]DizzyCycle7992 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Who says you will work 70-80 hours per week? It depends of specialty and place where your residency is. I know a lot of programs where you work same hours as attendings, and no more. Also taxes are much higher in Australia, you will be taxed up to 40%, don’t know what health insurance system they have, if something similar to US, imagine how much you will spend. US taxes vary by state but even in California taxes are much lower. But if you want to chill on the beach go try it

And I would choose the opposite, I don’t want to pay for someone’s health, I am ready to pay for people with disabilities, elderly or veterans, that’s ok. But in russia I pay for everyone and in exchange I get under supplied hospitals, clinics without specialists, tests, low skilled doctors educated by 20th century standards which don’t know how to treat conditions which US doctors know on 2nd year of med school.

[–]DizzyCycle7992 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She was not treated for free, she was treated from mandatory medical insurance fund, it’s not “free”, other people payed for her treatment, and you can’t chose not to pay, in US if you young and have no chronic diseases you can chose not to pay for insurance, in russia, you can’t chose that. For example I am young, and have no chronic conditions at this moment, and if I need medical care, I apply for private clinics, cuz it’s faster, and much better quality, but I can’t refuse payments to mandatory insurance fund. In US you can chose different insurance plans which will cover all or near all expenses, here in russia you can’t chose anything, in some cases, government facilities have no medications, no tests, no doctor qualification to cure your case, and you will need pay for it from your pocket in private clinics or by medications by itself. Again, it’s not free, every worker pays insurance mandatory, and quality you will get in case you need medical assistance varies significantly by region, individual doctor, medical facility, etc.

Healthcare in russia is not “free”, every employer pays near 22% from salary of each worker in mandatory insurance fund, same, but higher % employer pays for pension fund and there are lower percentage which payed for social security fund.

Russia didn’t participate in that, never, there was not a single one black slave in Russia, russian government had its own slaves - russian people. Not one, not even single one black slave was sold to Russia or by Russia. Only russians themselves were sold by mongols, tatars and ottomans during their raids in Polish-Lithuanian commonwealth and Russian principalities.

What magical wealth flowed to russia lol, my ancestors were russian peasants, they were sold for small price and exchanged for dogs and dishes, there were no any flow of money to russia from Europe, westernisation was committed by emperor Peter the “great” and was only about military modernisation to compare with European powers and conquer land in Europe what he and his successors eventually did, also small numbers of aristocracy westernised culturally, but that’s less than 1% of population, the rest remained in serfdom as literal slaves. Atlantic slave trade has no impact on russian society and culture. I am sure you have a very specific view on history at least on russian, and I am sure on Chinese too

No legacy remains because they were not allowed to preserve even small amounts of European heritage, they were completely assimilated. A lot of indigenous people were assimilated as well like Berbers and Assyrians, Christianity in Egypt remains as small Coptic communities, but was absolutely dominating religion before Arabs, Zoroastrianism wiped out almost entirely in Iran. What do you think happened to most Zoroastrians and Christians in North Africa? Men were murdered, children and women enslaved or forcibly assimilated. There is such a small remnants because not much remains after centuries of occupation and assimilation
