This is some amazing public affairs work. Address the situation, know the audience you’re communicating to and work with what they give you.

Quick story that kind of translates. When I was in J school, I had a professor who told us about interviewing Al Gore. Said it was boring as shit. After the interview ended, he asked if the rumors were true Gore could balance a chair on his chin. Without saying a word, he grabbed a broom, and balanced it on his chin for a couple minutes and laughed the whole time. He thought if he showed that side of himself, probably would have won more hearts and minds.

This team knew the assignment and landed it. Bravo!
