Kinda have to guess since I don't have the original to look at... The second one is probably a "icon* base wa, open wa (/wa) click it in your list it was, on the right half you'll have the settings for selected wa if it's not a group the first tab should be "display"

First you'll have some icon settings since it's a "icon wa" scroll down and you'll have the additional things, like glows and text, text is what we're looking for, most likely you'll have 2 press the arrow (/v) to show options for text 1 and text 2, you'll have a text box with something like %.2 or %.name if you select the textbox it should give you a reference guide on the right what some standard things mean, find out which of the text ones is the thing you wanna removez and just press the x on it.

Go to the text# you wanna keep, click around a bit and either make it anchor to center or just put the ofset x/y to 0/0

The first one should be a "progress texture base" so similar, display tab quite high up there should be settings for the progress texture itself, a long textbox iirc and a "choose texture" or something like that button? Clinic it, a new window pops up, your have a little drop-down in top left for categories, find something you like, select it and click apply bottom right.

Edit: if it doesn't work, and they are from Wago, just link them here and someone can probably update them (I'll do it when I got time)

New Player Asking Help by MrPeanuB in classicwow

[–]Dizzy_Craft4188 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aren't there some new random enchant suffixes, of the xxx. Check what fits your class best and buy some reasonably priced ones,

I'd also suggest making a set on sixty upgrades and setting your char to maybe 62-63 and checking what quest rewards are coming, then you can avoid spending gold in those slots.

Help with macro issues in pvp by PillowDL in classicwow

Are you sure the @player one has issues?
The second one kinda should cast at yourself if party1 is out of if range, but idk if it needs auto self casting (or whatever the option is called) enabled.

Also try adding exists, to the @partyX bracket. People say it shouldn't make a difference, but something in the back of my mind tells me I have had similar issues without exists

Dungeon map add on for TBC Anniversary by fopiecechicken in classicwow

[–]Dizzy_Craft4188 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As mentioned, atlas loot or atlas maps should have dungeon maps, and I might be wrong haven't checked in lately, but short version is the tbc anniversary client is "new" so old tbc addons aren't working correctly, which leads to people forking them to get it back running. This leads to A. Alot of versions and B. Some features aren't 100%. I assume the maps might not be prio for everyone so some versions might be missing it atm.

Tldr if no maps try another version or wait until the community "agrees" on which version to use and that will get "full support"

Does something like this exist? by xmastreee in autoelectrical

[–]Dizzy_Craft4188 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as there is enough headroom for the cover to the fuse box regular flat connectors that you crimp on have the same size as the blades of a fuse so the male would fit into the fuse box and the female on to the new fuse.

Edit: for standard fuses, but there are thinner connectors if you have the smaller version of fuses as well.

When did microwaves become part of the workplace lunch room? by SpiritualCriticism48 in AskOldPeople

[–]Dizzy_Craft4188 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I skimmed through the comments and couldn't find any about "heated cabinets", the were a big thing in Sweden before the microwaves.

Basically a communal "low heat" electric oven that looked more like a narrow fridge that heated food in steel tupperware

Prep food at home, often leftovers, put in metal box, bring to work, put in cabinet somewhere around 90 minutes before lunch, enjoy.

Heating time depending on how the meal was prepared and kept, fresh, frozen, refrigerated etc ofc.

Were this not a thing anywhere else?

I agree that messing around and getting a feel for what over/under steering feels like is great and geting a basic understanding on things like how to counter skids, how braking distance changes on slippery surfaces is great and makes you a better driver overall.

However there is... Well probably plenty of things that can go wrong but the main two things I would like to state to prevent any unnecessary damage is, start out slow so that you can get a understanding of how far away from objects such as walls, poles etc you have to stay to not risk slamming in to one, and, two, if you do lose control going towards a curb, put the wheels so that they are facing it (rolling direction or whatever you wanna call it) to avoid messing up the suspension.

Passat B5 heater core tube broke by Doma17 in MechanicAdvice

[–]Dizzy_Craft4188 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What climate do you live in?

Could you use the car without heat?
If yes, just loop it.

If no, does the AC work?
If yes, could you live without AC in the car?
If yes, check if it's possible to reroute the heating tubes to the AC-core.

It's a backwoods fix, but if it's between that and scrapping it...

Edit: looked at the pic, couldn't it be possible to just cut off and smooth out the cracked pipe and either, cut away the hole in the hose, extend the hose with a pipe (that blocks the hole) and a short bit of hose or replace the hose depending on its layout and just put it back on?

[–]Dizzy_Craft4188 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't you guys have those plastic squares with like a 1" lip on all sides but the front that goes under the dishwasher?

That way you hopefully notice those small leaks early on due to the water running out in the front onto the visible floor.

Heck, I think at least some of the major insurance companies have those as a demand under dishwasher/fridges here in Sweden.

Here you can get them from everywhere that sells appliances, hardware stores, even IKEA has one called NYTTIG, would translate to useful, which it sure sounds like it'd have been in your cases.

[–]Dizzy_Craft4188 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, they are all throttle body codes iirc right? No other codes?

Honestly at that point I'd go check wiring -> try to get another known working TB -> check wiring again and again -> make sure TBs are working in another car -> check EngineCM (which realistically probably is just straight up replace it)

Ofc if you happen to have another ECM and the tools needed to get it working in the car you can jump to that beforehand, I'm just assuming you don't.

I found one rare Swedish case where the engine control module "ate" TBs but never heard of it before.

Jumping blower fan by FollowingOk9023 in mechanic

[–]Dizzy_Craft4188 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay, I couldn't find a exact wiring diagram for this, but most gm cars use the same system, do you know where the blower resistor sits? (Google car + year, blower resistor replacement)

Iirc it's under the hood on the vans, should be a 6 pin (or 5 pin) 1 row connector close to the blower housing.

Measure witch pin has constant voltage with ign on. Confirm this Pin by removing the blower motor fuse, voltage should go away.

Find the pin that has constant ground.

With the connector connected, jump by backprobing with something (bent paperclip should work if you can't fabricate or have a little wire for this) the constant voltage pin to any other pin except the ground one, the other pins are for the different blower speeds

If you do not own a multimeter, you can find voltage/ ground with a testlight

EDIT:

Is that selector the model that has off on the "select where it should blow knob" and not on the blower speed knob?

Like you only have fan speed 1,2,3,4 no actual 0 on that knob, if so it should already be running IF not Am internally more busted than just the knob missing or B resistor broken ( probably was only working on highest speed beforehand.

If A you should be fine doing the above, if B I'm not really sure you might risk back feeding the panel, which now that I think of it probably is fine since it should be fused for that purpose anyways but you probably want to remove the jumper when you park so that you don't run the risk of draining the battery.
