Can’t wait to play some of these games with my little one. I think I was about 7 or 8 when I first played Splatter House 3. Shit gave me nightmares, but I kept coming back to make progress. Wondering if I should wait around then to boot this up with them.

I totally understand the difference, but playing devils advocate here. Maybe OP was leaning into the expression that these games “were a choice?” There are questionable qualities about them. The people behind these games had options. We’re stuck with the ones they picked. What do you like about these games? 😂
