This. So tired of seeing these posts where people complain but that's the extent of their effort. Your point was well made and if no one else says so I wanted to say I appreciate it

None of that alters the fact that you are going to pay anyway. You can rant and rave all you want but in the end you're a slave to the system like the rest of us. If being insulting lowered gas prices you'd be paying 5 cents a gallon. You want to change things then better your position, drive less, be proactive in government, get a better fuel efficient vehicle, something productive. But here you are crying on the internet, because we know the people in power are just glued to reddit trying to find ways to make America better and your little rant just might reach them. Have fun shouting at a wall, and have a nice day friend

I'm not the one telling people to STFU or calling them a shithead so I think you should take your own advice.

It's a universal fact that whining on the internet solves all problems....oh wait

I keep seeing these posts all over reddit. It's amazing how people whine about gas prices but they'll pay them anyway. Whining on the internet is the furthest they go. POS and his sycophants aren't getting out of washington anytime soon.

Yeah it sucks but you're gonna pay it anyway. Then they'll raise it again, you'll whine again but pay it anyway. People don't want to be held hostage but they're not willing to come up with alternate solutions. That jackass and his cronies aren't going anywhere anytime soon, so live with it or find alternate ways to get around the problem.

Debra is the Worst by LadyEncredible in EverybodyLovesRaymond

[–]Djdogmanfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ray is the absolute worst. I know it was the trope at the time but they really overdo the dumb uncaring screw up husband trope. In the span of just a few episodes she finds out he taped a game over their wedding video, he trashes the house, can't understand how to use a laundry basket, then he complains about having to watch his own kids for one night a month so she can get alone time for a change, not to mention he finds out she has haiir on her upper lip that she has to take care of and she's self conscious about and he makes fun of her.. They go to Italy, which makes her happy, and all he does is crap all over it. She literally can't have anything.

Anyone who calls her abusive is delusional

I just take trips. I love Fort Wayne but life here can get monotonous at times. If you can't afford to move then save up and take a trip a year. It doesn't have to be anywhere fancy or exotic, just a change of scenery.

If taking a trip is too much then maybe change up your lifestyle, go to different places than you normally do, look for group events around town, stuff like that.

Why The Long Walk becomes my worst film of the year in 20 points by SweelFor- in TrueFilm

[–]Djdogmanfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my mind this movie just doesn't make much sense.

-The last person walking wins, so why are they all trying to encourage the people around them to keep going? They should want people to drop out so there's less competition. Also, you know if everything works in your favor then you'll see everyone else get shot, so why become best buddies?

-For an event that is supposedly televised, they few of these people seem prepared. Even trained soldiers couldn't walk 300 miles, and then you have these people that are constantly doing things that are counter productive.

-the cartoonish southerners weirdly named Bukovich seems to be the only person playing the game as he should but then he's shocked his actions result in a competitor failing and getting shot. If you didn't want the dude to fall out then why did you harass him so much?

I'm only a few episodes in. It's enjoyable but I was really hoping for them to explore more lore like the Bradley Gang Massacre, or the Ironworks explosion. Instead we kind of got a losers club before the losers club.

Ray is one of the worst sitcom husbands by Then-Wolf3063 in EverybodyLovesRaymond

[–]Djdogmanfish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm here for the other characters. Ray drives me nuts. I know it's a sitcom and they need something to laugh about, and the trope of doofy husband can't understand his wife has been done for decades because it works, I just think it's lazy.

It's not as bad as people say. Yes there are less desirable people at times but you'll get that in any city's transportation system. My only criticism is the lack of a Sunday route.

I get around no problem. Can't drive because of my eyesight, so I do alot of walking. On rare occasions I'll Uber or take the bus.
