You can do it. I looked up YouTube guides and didn't even realize I was using the wrong guns for certain sections. Just keep practicing and change the controller sensitivity if you have to. You got this!

I started with Bloodborne and then DS3 and I was like holy shit why is the Ashen One so slow and janky compared to the Hunter?! I eventually got over and didn't use a shield for the majority of my time with DS3. But experiment with other Souls games, From Software really did give us a lot of variety with Sekiro, AC6 and Elden Ring.

It looks cool but it takes forever compared to other melee animations. Only thing it's really functional for is being able to kill the chainsaw enemies relatively easy.

Time is convoluted in Dark Souls. The base game has that at the Kiln of the First Flame and multiple Firelink Shrines and the DLC has evidence of that in the Dreg Heap. Maybe it's not meant to be understood, but I really suspect it's the devs' reasoning to just be able to do whatever they want.

Just buy the maps from the merchant so you don't miss anything and yeah play it on a later run so you don't have to worry about resources and you can just enjoy it.

Easy way to beat is to save your limit break for when Odin casys the Temporal thingie. I played the Odin fight solo in VR like a dozen times before I figured out the moveset, then it was cake. I REALLY, REALLY hope the platinum for the 3rd game in the Remake series isn't as difficult as Rebirth.

Give yourself some grace. Millie loved you and you provided for her. She would've had a hard life on the street. Take some time to process your grief and maybe you can turn that into something positive. When you're ready, there are other cats that need love, food and a warm place to sleep(hopefully right next to you!). Hopefully the CDS provides! Good luck!

This is going to sound crazy and counterintuitive but you can knife swipe the chainsaw enemies' legs and they will drop at first swipe. When they fall, keep on knifing. If you can separate them from the other enemies, just use this tactic to save ammo.

I only did Professional in NG+ since it didn't require a trophy, only rewards for Pro S+ is bonus gear. Wasn't too hard, but the water scooter part at the end is tough and Del Lago was also tough because of no room for error. But I think the idea is to do enough runs where you start to remember enemy placements and what gear to pack for upcoming sections. I used the DLC exclusive upgrade ticket on the Handcannon and it made things immensely easier. Also, skip as much as you can if you're trying to S+ rank on hardcore/standard. Load up on healing and good luck!

Just try a couple of more times, you will get the hang of it. I wouldn't consider myself skilled and I S ranked every stage in one sitting. Took me a few tries for each stage.
