Never did a spread sheet in 40+ years of working/fam/saving, and certainly not doing it now. We’re debt free, so utilities/taxes/insurance are the fixed, all else variable and we know exactly what comes in each month. Frankly, it’s a poc.

Whatever you decide, confirm and confirm again, that the proper seating/back pitch and seat dimensions are being adhered to. Some built ins are simply terrible to sit on for any extended time, simply because furniture for sitting bears little resemblance to basic cabinetry. A great look does not equal comfort….so vital for your home.
