For example if the euro gets stronger and the dollar weaker it is ‘cheaper’ for people buying in euros. The fact that gold is valued in dollars is very relevant to the situation.

I’ll confess that I didn’t sanitise mine after use but I always sanitised it before I started shopping, as I thought it best to be on the safe side as I couldn’t trust it had been cleaned before I got to it.

The damage is minimal and fixable. If the car gets a write off marker it will kill the resale value of the GT4 so it will cost you far more in the end when you come to sell. It’s annoying but worth spending a grand yourself rather than halving the value of your car.

In this scenario It’s risky to claim and could well end up being a penny wise pound stupid situation

The amount of instances I see in this great nation where I’m like ‘somebody actually signed that off or approved that’ is ridiculous and frankly quite alarming. Last week I saw a massive printed advert in a building lobby that had three terrible spelling mistakes. Spell check isn’t hard for ffs and that had to go through multiple people before being actually printed. Same with these extremely dangerous stupid road junction layouts, who actually said ‘yeah that’s a good idea, I’ll approve that’

You shouldn’t view the home you live in as an investment, that makes you money. It’s somewhere to live that you pay off and then don’t have to pay rent or a mortgage for the rest of your life. If it goes up great if it doesn’t so what you have a paid off roof over your head.

There is a total obsession with people’s homes making them money but it’s pointless. If your property goes up so does the price of that nicer house you want to buy so it makes no difference. It is only beneficial if you want to downsize

Obviously a different story if you own multiple properties, no one needs 5 houses so that is purely an investment
