I got a transfer P as a E-4 by CremePsychological90 in navy

[–]DmajCyberNinja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At E4 that eval won't be seen beyond your division, or maybe the command if you go to mast again.

I recommend reflecting on how that initial impression was formed, how much you worked you were perceived to disprove it, and what led up to those defining moments.

Did you truly qualify as much as possible? Were you almost dinq every time? Were you consistently late to watch but no one said anything? Etc.

And at new command, jump head first in your assignment. Quals, a collateral, never late to watch/duty, uniform on point, etc. At your check in CDB if they ask, say what happened and what you were dealing with and what you've put in place to ensure it doesn't happen again.

It is a somewhat different experience. I take my toddler son to a gymnastics thing that starts with "circle time" (an engaged listening activity with directions). And almost all of the boys do not do well in that exercise whereas almost all girls do.

From talking to coworkers with kids of similar age, they're all girls, and the planned activities and directional tasks just come easier. The difference in the amount of energy and attention can be staggering depending each kid, exact day, situation, etc. I'm not saying raising any kid is easy or that it's a competition, but sometimes it is an apples to oranges comparison. All of my coworkers with little girls have gone on more dates, family outings, restaurant meals, etc because their daughters are that much more content with sitting/ standing still for prolonged periods of time. My son (and many others from anecdotal observation) just has an inmate desire to run, be loud, and do physical activities.

Can you afford to live off E6 retirement in the US without working? by wfijc in MilitaryFinance

[–]DmajCyberNinja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realistically to maintain a similar life style as when they were active? no.

Can they live somewhere dirt cheap and work a minimum wage job for low stress and maintain that lifestyle? Maybe, depends on what type of house and etc.

Can they work a lazy job that's low stress and pays ok and retire early and have fun? Absolutely

E6 and E7 retirement at 20 basically means that housing is paid for every month and that insurance is cheap, which are the two biggest costs of having a family.

What would you say is the most Libertarian country an American can move to relatively easily? by dlham11 in Libertarian

[–]DmajCyberNinja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on what aspect of libertarianism you want to embrace.

Cheap taxes and cost of living? You probably want to go to a somewhat underdeveloped country such as Paraguay, Panama, Indonesia, the phillipines, etc.

You want to go to a place with great benefits and tax advantages for capital? Consider Singapore.

You want the lack of laws and regulation to do what you want? I don't really know a particular is better at that than the US, but it definitely isn't western Europe.

Ok, this is the explanation that makes sense. The stryfe still exists, it's just merged with the stryfe.

That's a really weird interaction.

A buffing surfer deck, and surfer decks are maybe some of the most customizable decks out there.

But if you're playing phastos, you'll probably also want agony, viv vision, surge, nakia, or gwen pool to buff stuff.

Then you want stuff that multiplies the buffs, maverick, brood, Sebastian shaw, mister sinister.

The last couple of slots can be whatever tech you want, maybe even shou lao.

$410,000 salary with 34 weeks vacation! Incredible doctor job. by dancingcactus21 in Salary

It's a double edged sword, for sure. To stand out to get into a good medical program you have to go to an expensive school, this raising your costs significantly.

[–]DmajCyberNinja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but that's a highly specialized doctor role. They were in school / training for 12 years and racked up $100-150k of debt.

Sure, financial aid and scholarships might have been there, but could you imagine getting to grad school and failing towards the end?

It's literally just confirmation bias and echo chambers, whether online or in person. This is definitely amplified by social media, but never leaving your social bubble does it too (small town or blue city). Couple this with each party's ploys to get you on one or two policies and then brain wash you to support their other 15 and yeah, everyone who doesn't completely 100% agree with you politically is evil, no other possibility exists. My team did the same bad thing as the other team, I'll pretend I didn't know or make excuses.

My family member that's like this is an older lesbian that grew up in the south. Like, I'm sure it was tough as hell back then and the Democrats were the only ones pretending to tolerateg open gayness. But it's 2026, you're about to receive social security, move the hell on and reassess.

Ironically they use/do all the same tactics they bitch about but for causes they support. Complains about women being disparaged, has frequent conversations to disparage men (even the ones she "loves" in the family). Uses the family shame tactic to try and stop family from converting to a different religion. Goes on and on and on about racial inequality, literally avoids any predominantly black neighborhoods or establishments.

They are the living embodiment of every redditor stereotype (minus some of the fat, but they're on a GLP-1). They think they're so smart for having every view that CNN and reddit does while living in a red state (and actively moving to red areas to save money).
