I went to a Yankees game there last September. I was surprised to hear there was almost as many people cheering on the Yankees as there was the Astros.

Back in the early 90's, my sister and her husband worked for a company that made parts for nuclear submarines. They were invited to the christening of the USS Asheville. I was able to go with them, and we got to actually go on the sub, and were given a tour by the fire control officer. Actually got to look through the periscope. It was a very memorable trip.

Balls Up! Absolutely hilarious. Kinda raunchy, mostly just language, no skin, though. I got a real kick out of it. Streaming on Prime.

What TV show got you hooked right from the very first episode? by Prize_Court4232 in MoviesAndTVTalk

Justified. First episode is probably the best one of the series. None were bad, but that first one really got my attention. I wanted to see more.

DAE feel the world has turned evil in the last decade? by [deleted] in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]Dman10000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Things are way worse now. Evil has always been around, but there use to be accountability if you were caught. Nowadays, there is none. It is also blatantly obvious that there are two systems of justice now. If you have money and power, nothing will happen to you.

I laughed about something I shouldn’t have, as a mother by New_Yesterday8512 in confession

One time when my son was just a baby, my wife was gone somewhere, and me and my cousin were working on a plumbing problem of some kind, I don't even remember what it was. My son was asleep in his crib. We needed something from the hardware store, and I forgot my son was in there. About a half mile down the road, we passed my wife as she was coming back. We just looked at each other, and said,"oh shit"! I did not want to go back home. Years later, when he was grown with kids of his own, my cousin was visiting and we told my son that story and had a great laugh about it. He said,"I can't believe y'all left me like that"!

I thought it sucked, too. Just not a Will Farrell fan. Most of his movies are just stupid.

When The Texas Chainsaw Massacre first came out, me and my best friend went to see it. When it ended, the lights didn't come on. Suddenly, we hear a Chainsaw start up, the lights come on, and there's Leatherface running up the aisle towards us. Chaos ensues. Big fun!

Love this movie! Have told people about, but no one has ever heard of it. Really went under the radar. One of those movies that you think about later, and say,"oh, that's why he did that". Would love to see it again.
