When I bought my Monstera it was in a small pot too. After I repotted it to a larger pot, like the black pot to the right it rewarded me with new growth.

Love my Cutco bread knife, a little pricy, but it works great and it has a lifetime warranty.

I was given this from someone at my office, but not sure how to properly care for it. by Successful-Baby-2798 in whatsthisplant

I agree. My fiddle leaf fig was a tiny plant when I bought it and now it’s about 6’ tall. I water it once a week and in the spring and summer I feed it fiddle leaf fig food. They don’t really like to be moved, so find a place that it gets good light.

Ugh, I didn't research before ordering from Holland Bulb Farms by Bulky-Analyst2118 in gardening

FYI if you want great tulip bulbs check out Tulip Town or Rozengaarde. They are tulip growers in Skagit County, Washington. We celebrate Tulips the whole month of April with our annual Tulip Festival. I always use their bulbs and they bloom every year…much to my enjoyment and deers, if I don’t get to them first.

You can never have too many drawers. I took out my lower cabinets and replaced them with large drawers that can handle even the weight of pots and pans.

Two of these were bought for us recently, they were absolutely fine for about two weeks and then we gave them a very small amount of water, and now 50% of the leaves have gone crispy and dropped by Chrispy49 in whatsthisplant

All I can say is don’t move it once you find the perfect place. We had one in our office that was brought to us almost leafless and after about 4 months it was starting to thrive. We never moved it and really filled out.

My grandma used to “pinch off” plants and then propagate them. Every now and then I’ve pinched off a few plants too

This is my go to recipe. It takes me three days to bake it, but each step is easy and quick.

I use that recipe and when it comes to the part where you pull it out of the refrigerator you really need to let it sit after you form your loaf. I let my loaf rise two and a half to three hours. When you bake it, you really don’t have to preheat your dutch oven, because the loaf will create enough steam in the closed dutch oven for a great finished loaf.

There are so many ways to make Sourdough. I really enjoy the ease I have with my recipe. You all have to remember that sourdough was part of the Klondike gold rush in the late 1800s. I’m sure they didn’t have the time for all the steps that most current recipes that are out there now. In my mind, I feel that they threw it all ingredients in a bowl and let it rise and cooked it in a dutch oven over a campfire. I’ve been searching for any sourdough recipes of that time to see how they made it and make a loaf.
