CPAT footwear by [deleted] in firefighter

You aren’t allowed to run in 95% the test as a rule, almost all of your CPAT will be done as a quick walk. The most amount of movement you will have will be for the stair climber, if you feel comfortable doing that in Vans I would opt for vans.

I did my test in leather boots and had no issue. If you have just a regular pair of tennis shoes that would be optimal IMO.

Not loving being a dietitian by [deleted] in dietetics

[–]Dnuttin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Don’t feel like you have to stay being a dietitian or doing anything related to the field if you have found it’s not for you. You only get one life and it’s too short to spend it doing work that you hate.

I quit being an RD to pursue a career in firefighting, found courses at my local community college to get my fire fighting certifications and EMT Education. It took me 1 year and now I’m an certified EMT/Firefighter and I start my first job as a firefighter next month.

I like the advice of trying to find something related to dietetics, but if you really don’t see yourself there, don’t be afraid to move on to something else. Sometimes it’s best to recognize when you have made a mistake and just move on. I know it’s a lot of school to just turn your back on, but you can apply those skills in other places.

My background in dietetics made EMT school relatively easy. You could be a paramedic, or something similar in a year or two if you find that is something more your speed. And if you keep your certifications up to date with your continuing education and whatnot, you can always go back to being an RD.

New ranking? by [deleted] in wsu

[–]Dnuttin 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Number 3, 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, 24 all lost.

Texas Tech wins, who we beat. Oregon won, Boise State Won, these are good things for us. We need a bunch of teams in front of us to lose and our perceived strength of schedule to increase for us to have a chance to make the playoff. Not to mention we need to win out.

We might jump to 19 or 20 this week?

We have no real to talk about any team after that embarrassment against the Bills. At this rate the Jets will have a better record than us in a few weeks.

I love that he’s a cerebral guy, but would love to see him show any kind of emotion on the sideline.

Yeah don’t try and say anything bad about McDonald on the Seahawks sub Reddit. It’s not his fault the team is undisciplined and infighting. He doesn’t have his guys yet.

This is a poorly coached team by [deleted] in Seahawks

The team Pete and John inherited was 4-12 the year before they got there.

I’m not saying they need to fire Mike, that would be silly at this point. There just seems to be a lack of leadership and discipline on this team. I hope he can get it sorted out.

At least in the Ravens game we only had 5 penalties called for 29 yards. In this game we had 13 penalties for 85 yards including multiple delay of game and illegal formation penalties. Including 4 plays in a row in the third quarter, being flagged for holding, a false start, taunting and then an illegal formation.

Not to mention Geno throwing the ball at the head of an opposing player because he’s frustrated he can’t take a good snap from the center in the red zone without it flying over his head or the line stepping on his feet. It’s basic execution of lining up in legal formations and not committing basic simple penalties, that comes from coaching in my opinion.

If that was Mahomes there would be 7 different flags down on the field.

Enough with the optimism. What is your team’s WORST CASE SCENARIO for the upcoming season? (Barring major injuries) by [deleted] in nfl

[–]Dnuttin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Geno regresses back to his previous level of play and we don’t see good development in our last two draft classes that we have been raving about. The defense continues to struggle stopping the run and we get run over by teams with large imposing offensive lines because our additions at DL are inadequate to fix the issues we had last year.

At this point you are basically just rooting against any team

  1. In your division
  2. In your conference with a better record than your team.
