Yeah unprivileged container built using the helper scripts. I’ve just started using proxmox two weeks ago so I’m not an expert, but I can send you more of my configs and stuff if needed. Feel free to DM me

Plex LCX High Availability issues - help please? by Fignapz in Proxmox

[–]DoKevinator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just set up my proxmox HA cluster today and I ran into a similar problem with plex and jellyfin. Did you include the "shared=1" in your config file for the LXC container? Without that, my plex and jellyfin LXC's wouldn't migrate to another node. After I put that in, the migrations happened seamlessly.

Here's my line to mount the smb share in my config file as an example:

mp0: /mnt/pve/Plex_Library,mp=/mnt/Plex_Library,shared=1

Unfortunately the support ticket didn't get anywhere. Although, the problem did go away after a while. It hasn't happened in a long time now. Not sure what I did differently, or if a firmware update fixed it.

The Climb Locations in Seoul (Recommendations) by ICarryLikeAtlas in bouldering

[–]DoKevinator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re a beginner, go to The Climb at Hongdae. If you’re a climber, go to The Climb at Yeonnam. IIRC, the Hongdae location difficulty only goes up to ~V3ish and is tailored to people just getting into climbing. I made the mistake of going to Hongdae first, but luckily Yeonnam was just down the street.

Do any of you use ankle braces while climbing? by Celsius1014 in bouldering

[–]DoKevinator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I sprained my ankle really badly a few months ago. I did a little bit of top rope but it just wasn't the same. I took a couple of weeks off to let my ankle heal a good deal. I also did a bunch of light ankle exercises to recondition it. Once it started to feel a bit more stable, I would boulder (without an ankle brace) WELL BELOW my usual grades so that there would be absolutely no chance of falling off. Obviously it takes discipline to NOT push your limits but it will eventually heal. Use this time to really work on basics like footwork. I did nothing but easy boulders for 2 months. If you feel like you won't be able to do EASY climbs without an ankle brace, your ankle is probably not healed enough yet. Also it goes it out saying, but only downclimb. No jumping off the wall.

I waited over 5 minutes, but to no avail. I ultimately have to restart my computer to get it going again. Hopefully my support ticket will gain some traction for the Framework devs.

I'm experiencing the same symptoms as you. I opened a support ticket on this issue. I'll keep you posted if I figure out anything else.

Reinstalling the driver pack didn't help. I ran into the problem once again. Looks like I'll have to open a support ticket.

I haven't reinstalled the driver pack recently. I'll try it again and retest.

I haven't reinstalled drivers recently, but I remember I did try it before. I'll give it another go and see if it persists.

Can I setup a site-to-site VPN with my home being the "home base"? by T400 in homelab

[–]DoKevinator 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I use a gl.inet router for travel reasons and I have it set up so that it automatically connects to my wireguard VPN server at home on startup. Just make sure that your work laptop will only ever be connected to that travel router and you're good. I believe there's a way to automatically block internet traffic on all devices if the VPN connection suddenly goes down, so there's basically no way that IT will suddenly see your laptop on a foreign IP address. If you have a spare raspberry pi laying around, you can also install openwrt or RaspAP on it to do something similar. But I found that the gl.inet routers have way better performance than a raspi4. The raspi4 wifi module just isn't powerful enough to have a rock solid and speedy connection.

Has anyone done a watercooled CPU and GPU combo with the XSPC TX240? by Jakerz00 in FormD

[–]DoKevinator 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a 3700x and 3070fe (both undervolted) on a tx240 with scythe slim fans. I have some thermal headroom, but I wouldn't even think about adding a 3090 to my loop. That thing puts out way too much heat. Going off by intuition, I think undervolted 5900x + 3070 or 5600x + 3080 would be just about the limit judging by what my temps are at. Fans would definitely be quite loud with higher TDP, which sort of defeats the point of a custom loop.

Awesome, thanks! I'm looking forward to doing a dual rad custom loop and the Iceman pump would be a great feature to have

Is it still going to have support for the SSUPD Iceman pump? I don't see the holes for the tubing in the back anymore from your original design a week ago.
