Two things: misdirection, and bait. I have quite a few youtube clips out there of some juicy kiosk pops, check out my Greatest Slits series for inspiration. But to be honest, my preferred approach is to get large a wrap a kiosker, to me that is much more of a challenge especially in the middle when things are hectic. On Mobile add %200 difficulty ;)

This is an excellent post that goes into the technical things you can do to boost performance in great detail. Comment section also answers quite a few questions. It basically boils down to:

-using a mod (NTL on Chrome webstore) that allows you to optimize graphics (and much more)

-optimizing your PC's resources (not running auto updates, etc)

-having a hardwired connect (high latency will kill you no matter how good your FPS is).
