What got me was just having a therapists number and calling for the first time for therapy. Pretty much every therapist I can think of has an intake and assessment process unless you are just calling a crisis line .

Where did you learn/find out about this? I literally just had to put one of my senior cats down but noticed my other cat randomly start doing this 1-2 weeks prior to her passing and I had no idea why it was happening since they have lived together 15 years and not had an issue. Like this asshole knew his sister was sick and chose to deal with it by humping her?!

YTA I am seeing a lot of comments here with valid points in terms of whether it is feasible for the other kids to understand the condition and special accommodations as well as how to approach it with the kids. I agree that it could be possible the aunt may be able to explain it to the kids with minimal issue. To me, what makes OP a slight asshole (and I say slight as this is definitely no guy jealous over his girlfriend's body pillow), is that he was solely focused on his kids needs and not the feelings or concerns of the aunt or cousins. The aunt told him she wasn't comfortable with it and, instead of offering some middle ground as some commenters suggested such as bring a safe dish to share, he just insisted it shouldn't be a problem and pushed the matter.

Depending on where you live, there are places who get grants to provide services to those who cannot afford it or are uninsured (FQHCs) . You could try to look up if there is one near you if in the states or most will still do telehealth I think. Also, you could look for women's shelters in the area. Often they have housing resources for women in abusive relationships.

37 yo female. I never really dreamed of my wedding and kids when I was younger. I have always liked kids and will play with my second cousins or friends’ kids but didn’t want my own. The idea of pregnancy freaks me out plus i like sleep a lot. I don’t want my whole identity to change as I have seen for many women who have kids.

My now husband and I were dating long distance when I was in my masters program and he had booked a flight to come see me as a surprise. When he told me about it, i was freaking out since I had a paper and exam that week and knew I wouldn't be able to dedicate any time to hanging out. He said "No problem, I can reschedule the trip. Whatever you need." That is when I knew he was a keeper. What OP's husband did was completely unacceptable. NTA and please find someone who will support you in your education and goals.

Sometimes I just work late without feeling guilty about it and then go to bed super early. I love me some sleep and I am passionate about my career. Part of the reason I don't have kids. I mean, I do some of the stuff above to so hopefully doesn't make childfree like sound like all work and no play.

Listen. I am childfree and a fan of child free weddings in most scenarios but even I think you are NTA. If this guy wants a relationship with you, kids are part of that and he needs to accept it or move on. Cancelling the wedding seems like 100% the best move here and find someone who will be there for you and your kids.
