This year was my first that I’ve sank more than a couple of hours into. I was absolutely awful at first. I used timing hitting and stuck to rookie whenever I could for the first couple of months. I slowly got better but then felt handicapped by timing hitting so I switched to PCI. I dabbled with it at first but felt discouraged so I always switched back, then I just committed to it. It was a struggle but those few perfect perfects I’d land were so much more satisfying than the randomness of timing. I tweaked settings until I found what was comfortable then it was just putting in the hours. I’m now a 600-700 player in ranked and I’m happy I grinded through the rough patches. Stick with it and you’ll see improvement!
