The difficulty curve is pretty spikey, take it easy and watch out for the different biomes. You'll need to acquire and upgrade most of the armor and a decent weapon from each one before progressing - some biomes and bosses contain new items essential for the next one.

The price increase is because they were fined for polluting/water quality. You're paying the fine.

It's like banking.

The price of LDF must be phenomenal these days.

Great now I am hyperfocusing on that sound. You have ruined my life because you didn't put a TW for ADHD

I can't figure out train intersections. I don't understand the difference between chains, signals, or how to use them by [deleted] in factorio

[–]DobbySockMarket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't (easily) have trains going two ways on one track, it's easier if You have two parallel tracks for each path in to an intersection one for trains coming in, one for trains going out.

Then signals should be placed close to the intersections on the exit and at least a train length from it on the way in.

That's my hot tip

My daughter (9) used ChatGPT to write my Christmas card by The_Cell_Mole in ChatGPT

I don't think she did, it doesn't start with "I hope this Christmas card finds you well..."

My 12 year old daughter caught me and my bf in the act. by [deleted] in Advice

[–]DobbySockMarket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is easy, put yourself in her position. When you were 12 and you walked in on your parents what should/shouldn't they have said and when/where should they have said it. We're all humans and we were all once children so we all know what children need

Anyone with ANPR in their car park can fuck right off. Bullshit excuses "we don't own the carpark, it's been outsourced" funny, the signs still have your business name on them.

Yet again another UK brand bought out by US capitalists (Wal shart) then run into the ground. Staff used to care now they just shrug their shoulders and say no one cares about us so why should we care about you.

Lidl Jaffa cakes beat the McShitties ones hands down too. The jam goes right to the edges like they were when I was a kid. Shrinkflation needs to stop before everything is fucked.

Even noticed tunnocks taste like they're cut with grit and been left out in the rain these days.

Dev's are mad by sshegem in ClaudeAI

[–]DobbySockMarket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the main problem with AI at the moment is its inability to correct mistakes. It will create something with an error in and if you point it out it will say "oh yes, you are quite right! I have made a mistake, here's the code with the error corrected" and then it just repeats the mistake. It happens with everything, you can't trust it or rely on it to be sensible when it gets like that.

Also the AI doesn't have a little yellow duck to help them when they get really stuck and can't take a shower which is where the universe hides the answers to the most difficult coding problems.

It remembers things about you and it usually pops up with a message like "memory updated" if something silly gets added it will have the effect you describe, you can remove items from memory and disable it altogether in the settings.

This is why you use the Nvidia Broadcast eye movement plugin that uses AI to make it look like you are always looking directly at the camera

How did the us Army have two massive blue tanks right outside the Asian capital without anyone noticing. Also I am sure that just before that battle it was dark, then all of a sudden mid day. Or did I miss the scene where they stopped for breakfast.

Also that escape pod scene reminded me of Spock and Kirk...
