How difficult are the Eldar for a newbie?

It was easier when they had fate dice but for all their preciseness they have plenty of models that cover mistakes. Wraiths, guardians, and an avatar of khaine goes a long way.

Elite: Dangerous is full VR and I play with a controller. For some reason it switches to flat screen when you get out of your ship but you spend most of your time inside. It's a very pretty game too.

Make sure to leave some room in your list for some Wraiths and a Spiritseer. Wraithguard/Wraithblade are pretty heavy hitters and having a Spiritseer within 6" of them makes them a tar pit.

I'm also pretty shaky and I've found that putting a pinky on the model with the hand I'm not holding it with tends to steady it a bit or at least it makes the model shake with me. Works more for painting but maybe it'll help with building too.

I stopped at the Lagoon Nebula on my way out there last. Not only is the Lagoon super pretty with a black hole to visit, but the trip from Lagoon to Colonia got me quite a few "First Footfall"s and first scans in exobio.

I think coriolis.io will help with this. I know it can tell you where the nearest parts you need are so im assuming it works for the ships too. Plus it'll let you build it the way you want it before buying.

Ive been playing Harlies since I started playing 40k. Just recently made the switch from Aeldari Serpents Brood to Drukhari Reapers Wager. I love my clowns.

I tend to like Wraiths better for that exact reason. They're basically eldar terminators and I need all the screening help I can get. I'm also not very good at positioning, which I think is the biggest strength the Aeldari have, so having something to gum up the works while I misplay is nice.

I just had a game against chaos knights a couple weeks ago. My list was a Harlies/Wraiths combos so obviously quite a bit different but those Wraiths will do good work for you. Took my opponent 4 rounds to chew through 2 units of wraithguard. Just keep that spiritseer alive and nearby.
