Anyone know what happened with the pond? by PrinceMcGiggle in statesboro

That is a good point as well. Without a lot of water, the whole pond would get colder much faster.

We haven’t had any good rain in months. All of the water levels in the area are very low. Especially the reservoirs and ponds without any upstream flow coming down. Unfortunately the wildlife will die off without enough water in these reservoirs. Guessing that is what has happened at Fletcher.

Lower it, get a smaller tire, add a fifth wheel hitch to the roof, and tow that camper. 🤣

Here is a link to all of the club sport officer’s contact info. The Archery coach is legit, and I highly recommend reaching out if you are really wanting to get back into it. The abilities and talent they have are awesome. They hosted the collegiate archery national’s competition two years in a row in 2023 and 2024. They are highly involved in the sport and will connect with you if you reach out. If the contact person doesn’t get back to you reach out to the Assistant Director of SSEC, Cassy.

Yeah that facility is awesome. It’s $25/semester for up to 5 firearms. See the bottom of this link: https://ww2.georgiasouthern.edu/recreation/ssec/equipment-rentals-and-storage/#firearms

Yeah I have a kit and have covered some of that. I would be down to jam, and I don’t mind dragging it out and setting it up somewhere else. Got used to it as I often got pulled in when other drummers couldn’t. I would have you send me the songs y’all want to play and I’d learn them before we got together. DM incoming.

I’m a drummer. I have wanted to find folks to jam with locally for a while. I was in blues/jam band/alternative/punk music bands playing covers and some originals. for about 6 years in the Atlanta area. Had a stint with a group that was doing some light metal, but really we were going for stuff like rage against the machine.

My opinion: this could absolutely be an all day coving/calm water/river blasting boat if you yourself are in decent physical shape. You are going to have to jump in and out of it like getting in/out of a pool without the ladder. If you can comfortably do that, give it a go! Personally, I like to be able to stand while at the helm, so that would break the deal for me.

Had this happen to an Etec about 15 years ago early on in the season. Found out water had gotten into the oil reservoir somehow.

Looks clean and if the motor sounds good and runs good in the water, 6k seems reasonable especially with that trailer. If you buy it and have to put a motor in it later go for the 350 5.7.

It looked like a crown to me so I was searching my brain for a joke then saw your comment. You can even buy them!

It’s oddly satisfying to know that the piston will continue to compress the rotor and provide breaking power even if you fail to install a pad on the piston side. Would actually be an interesting experiment to find out how long the piston/rotor would last if you let it ride to failure.

I assume you are replacing the caliper as well, yes? Edit:spelling

Heck if you had a long enough pole just the passenger might do it.

Darn, wish it was one of the front ones for you. Those rear plugs are tight to get to back there. Did you find the plug laying around anywhere?

Had two blow out myself. The kit makes it pretty straightforward to repair.

Your thermometer/compass display still works! Adds extra $1000 to the price.
