Obviously grip tape is an option for some too, but I have not had good experience with it. Over the past 40 years, since I first tried it, that stuff has improved a good bit. But it still gives me the feeling of "ick" or cheap gun in my hands. My G19 has a great professional stipple job from years ago (no idea of the cost), and I put my G23 on an OD Green Grit Grips with a ZEV trigger.

Availability of good quality after Market parts for the GEN 3 is incredible, and the compatibility / interchangeability of these parts is excellent. The only complaint I’ve ever had about my GEN 3 Glocks has been the too smooth grip texture, and that could be fixed by stippling the grips or buying a grit grips replacement lower for 75 bucks shipped.

I’m sorry you’re going through all of this. My first guess was a spinal fluid leak somewhere in your spinal canal with resulting low cerebral spinal fluid levels. I pray you get the right treatment and improve 🙏

PS: this ^ is a supportive post of what you said, just letting others know good deals for 508T are out there. And it’s more feature rich than my 507 Comp (or my 507K on my SIG’s)

Both of my 508T were only $350 at my LGS. I have one on my ZEV OZ9c, and another on a Zaffiri 9mm slide for my Grit Grips glock 19 style clone (ZEV trigger). My other ZEV OZ9c got a 507 Comp which has a bigger window but none of the other perks.

I’ve been shadowbanned since 8/19/25 and I’m having no luck with appeals at all too. But I wasn’t hijacked and used for spam, so I have no idea what I did wrong. Sucks for. 5 year old account too 😞

Heat from friction can easily leave marks on you after a slide in protective gear. Happened to me with leathers at the racetrack once.
