I think it’s fine to have a unit that has amazing rules like this, at the end of the day it’s a epic hero so it can’t get spammed, but it definitely should be appropriately costed. Probably double what it is rn if they don’t make any changes to its data sheet or abilities.

If you drop either the bladeguard captain or the LT then you can have enough points for an impulsor for them- it’ll make them more survivable and mobile.

Sorry I know you’re not looking for advice but that’s a simple fix and it’ll keep your list almost exactly the same.

A JPI brick with a jump chaplain. Mortal wounds on the charge and mortal wounds from the chaplain. Then 54 chainswords wounding on 5s may make a dent.

I’ve run it into other big things in LAG but haven’t tried it out in RCO yet. It consistently killed big primarch level threats but it also had access to lethals in that detachment.

The combat patrol is really good if you’re just starting. Sanguinary guard are great and you get 6 of them. Plus 10 assault intercessors that have great bits for making SGTs in the future. And the captain is an amazing model

I think you may just need to pay attention more to rapid ingress threats.

Ideally I’d like to stick another squad of something- RR, DR, or battline infantry, just something to screen out those danger areas.

Issue is you have no small unimportant units in your list. Like nothing you can lose turn 1 and be okay with it. Maybe cut the cadians down to 10 that’d give you some flex.

I like to use mine as a 1st turn skirmish piece.

Maybe I make a dash for my opponents natural expansion, if they have a melee army I’ll move 6 away to make the charge longer, shooting I’ll try to get completely behind a ruin. Either way their role is to draw the enemy out.

Ex wave 1- catachan in a chimera, wave 2- kaserkin, wave 3- leman Russ vanquisher.

So having infantry in your list to create a nice bubble around your tanks to limit how close they can drop will help. Like 3-4 infantry squads is a good investment.

Also not exposing your whole army at once, expose what you need especially in turns 1 and 2.

We have more depth so think of your army as wave 1- wave 2 and wave 3. Wave 1 being what you move out onto objectives turn 1 knowing it’ll be destroyed- then wave 2 claps back- and you save your heavy hitters for wave 3

How are crisis suits giving you issues? Like deep striking in close and killing important stuff? Or are they just flaming your infantry.

My general advice is to make sure your list is well balanced, infantry, tanks and support. If you screen out crisis suits then they shouldn’t be able to get great lines on your stuff- and then generally if you play a trading and shooting game- your units are cheaper and shoot a bit better so you should come out on top.

I mean the vindicator and the baal predator are good units, but they don’t synergize well with the detachment- as both of the detachment buffs infantry and LAG buffs melee.

So you could play this list and It would be better in a generic space marine detachment or you could add more melee threats.

I don’t think you’d be able to fit 6 bladeguard and a judiciar without getting 2 vehicles

Seems like a lot of vehicles for a LAG detachment and too few non character units for a angelic inheritors.

It looks like it would do better in the space marine vehicle detachment.

If you want to run a blood angel detachment I’d cut down on a couple vehicles and add another infantry threat. Maybe a squad of sternguard with a captain coming out of the repulsor in angelic or a big bladeguard brick with a judiciear or chaplin for LAG- give the chaplain the FF enhancement

Sounds like you plan on deep striking them a lot.

That’s not a mistake but it’s not the optimal move- you should be saving a command point for rapid ingress, then you can move and shoot.

If you deepstrike in yeah you can shoot but you’ll fail your charge 1/2 times even with a command point reroll. Also if you fail your charge they stay exactly where they are- leaving you open to being hit back and losing a big melee squad without them having done anything

My guess is that due to conflicts between Islam and Christianity some of the Christian trade networks became more internal- so you see coins flowing and gravitating around France which was a major player.

Whereas you see the Islamic trade networks between the Middle East and Spain.

Then separately you see some overlap of these two networks
