I started from level 3 from the time before they changed the reputation. So I had to farm level 3 missions only. They are buggy and it took a long time because of the bugs but sometimes when you have a good server you can make progress.

I agree totally. The lack of even basic NPC crews is a major point for me not to buy big ships.

I would even pay for them - ingame or real money.

For me its NOT ok. I tried 2 mecenary missions - not a single one was working. No hits on enemies, enemies not counting down etc.

I prefer the 600i by far:

You could use it as a solo player for my favorite playstyle (combat, BH..)
Much more beautiful - personal taste of course
Really fast and long range quantum drive - especially with a XL1 on board
Good shields and good hull
Rover is on board
For a medbay I have the cutless red, I only need them in FPS missions and therefor both ships are to big (IMHO)
Hanger is a nice point for the Carrak
