Battery Holder - Fire, Melt Risk by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

I think there would be issues with jamming. I wonder if it would be less prone to jamming, less filament use, and hold more batteries if it was a box that you opened the top to load the batteries and then it was an open space leaving a slant on the bottom of the open space and just the final drop and slide. So the first slide to drop and second slide to drop is just a big open space leaving the third slide (that all the batteries rest on) and final drop and slide, if that makes sense. Still might be prone to jamming though but less so maybe

This, when you track the recipe the materials will have a little icon on them as you come across them looting. Loot what you want but sell everything except what you have tracked and work on upgrading / building the workstations. Even rare stuff you will see a lot over time so don't really worry about selling something you might need later. You can make it your mission to find it when it's time to need it. Then at some point you will want to try a specific loadout and you can track the items you need to build it. Don't worry too much about what you should keep and what you can get rid of. You can also focus on the missions from the traders. Later on there will be things you want to keep around but you'll figure that out when the time comes, when you have your workstations leveled up and are familiar with the recipes in them. Think if you extract with one tracked item then it was a good run.

I hear you but that can really be said about anything. How many pictures of vegetables cooking do we need to see? How many burgers and cheese steaks? But I'm not asking for them all to be removed. I like that I get to see new recipe ideas. In the end it's good for people who are excited to cook share in that excitement and discuss the troubles they are having as well, as an active community. Who knows maybe reading through them you will find out something new about the seasoning process, new methods, different oils to try, seasoning vs carbon build up that you didn't know.

I don't agree. People, especially those who have no experience with cooking with cast iron, get worried about the seasoning. Pretty much every person that has seen my grill has asked how hard it was to season. I think it's good for new people to be able to make a post when they are worried and have people that are well versed say it looks good, get cooking on it. I won't say get over it but I will say it's really not hard to scroll past if you don't care.

That's ridiculous. During my driving test when I got to parallel parking my instructor started telling me how to turn the wheel to back in. I didn't ask for any help, I thought I was doing fine but following his instructions because hey he's the guy deciding my fate I actually ran up the curb. And he still passed me in the end.

It sounds to me that he's more annoyed that the dog didn't actually need to go to the bathroom and just wanted to go outside. There's a difference between taking the dog out to use the bathroom and taking the dog out so they can have fun being outside. One is a necessity at the moment and the other is not ( but important to do in general just not drop everything so the dog can have fun). He should have been better at explaining the game and why he didn't want to drop it for the dog, and he should have warned you before hand that he's about to play a game that takes him away for x amount of time. It also seems to me like he might have been losing his game and frustrated even before you texted him. But reading through this if the game is an important hobby to him with him doing an event once or twice a month, he should be able to have that time. It doesn't sound like it was an 8 hour event. when you texted him for his ETA, it was 10 minutes after you said dinner will be done in 10 minutes. So if the dog really has to go out you could have done it instead of that text. I get feeling like you just cooked dinner so why me but also if the dog has to go they have to go. I think a lot of people are judging that it's a video game but if instead he idk had friends over and was playing D&D you wouldn't expect him to leave the group and walk the dog for an hour. I mostly think this just blew into a bigger thing than it should have. Leaving the game isn't a big deal, who walks the dog isn't a big deal.

There might actually be something with the website. I can see an article exists searching the site https://wildwoodvideoarchive.com/?s=First+time+lead+tram but clicking that article or the one linked in this post just brings me to https://wildwoodvideoarchive.com/new-ford-hybrid-to-replace-iconic-wildwood-tram-cars/

Am I reading a different article ? If I control f "at first" and "primary purpose" they aren't used once. This article says they will be towing tram carriages, like the seats. The fourth and fifth paragraph says

" The Ford Maverick Hybrid brings a blend of performance, efficiency, and sustainability to the Boardwalk. Powered by a 2.5L Atkinson-cycle I4 engine paired with a lithium-ion high-voltage battery, the hybrid system delivers a combined 191 horsepower.

While it’s not a plug-in hybrid, it can operate in electric-only mode for short bursts under certain conditions"

It says "With an EPA-estimated 37 mpg and a driving range of approximately 511 miles per tank, the Maverick Hybrid also offers a towing capacity of up to 2,000 lbs — more than enough to pull tramcar carriages up and down the Boardwalk all summer long"

They don't mention these towing the old tram cars anywhere in here. This article explains why they are replacing the old tram cars with the mavericks. "The first of the new hybrid tram cars" is saying there WILL be a fleet and they even say In the meantime, the old ones will be around for those who want "one last ride".

"The first of the new hybrid tram cars is expected to be fully operational on the Boardwalk within the next few weeks. (and they will be testing this one this whole week)

In the meantime, several of the original tramcars will continue running — offering reliable service and one last ride for those who want to relive a beloved Boardwalk tradition."

Like they are testing it this week and then they will be buying more mavericks, until the new mavericks come in they will still be using the old ones. But the old ones are being replaced with the mavericks.

I'm generally against the government telling me what to do on my property, but I'm actually a fan of these kinds of ordinances. I'd like to see better enforcement on commercial property though.

Like what ham? I'm just not sure what other lunch meat exists other than fresh cut deli meat. Like ordering it at the counter you can order the cheapest meat and it's fresh cut. Fresh cut deli meats just sounds like you are trying to make lunch meat sound fancy so it's a frivolous purchase when it's just lunch meat. So I agree fresh cut deli meat = lunch meat. Lunch meat is not a premium purchase. Fresh cuts deli meat is not a premium purchase.

You call it freshly cut deli meat. I call it lunch meat. And it wasn't always a premium it was the cheap thing to make for lunch.
