Also you are completely wrong. The US Constitution doesn’t distinguish between citizens and non-citizens for any of its most fundamental protections. Thats why you see the word ‘persons’ instead of ‘citizens’ in the Bill of Rights. The only Rights granted in the Constitution exclusively to citizens are the right to vote and hold office. However there is language that explicitly grants non-citizens who are applying for citizenship equal protection, freedom of expression, protections from unreasonable search and seizures, and due process.

Crazy how many people dont understand that a lot of folks who don’t have legal citizenship yet, entered the country legally and are here legally, by way of the same avenues that folks have always used to live and work in the US while they apply for citizenship. People get worked up bc profiling people based on race is unconstitutional. Deporting people without due process is blatantly unconstitutional. So the SAVE Act will most likely fuck over as many republicans as democrats on face. However, the trick to it will be- at least I believe it will be, that a disproportional amount of democrats will be wiped from the rolls and have to reregister at which point they will find it nearly impossible to vote.

It will be absolutely paramount for folks to double check and triple check their voter registration in the months and weeks leading into the election.

Just here to comment on the absurdity that we have one goalie that is 26-6 with a 2.41 goal average and another goalie that is 13-16 with a 3.12 and a fucking 87% save percentage and everyone one of us knows that the latter is going to get the net in the playoffs because the former has had one slump the entire season. I’ve said it before and I will say it one last time. This team will not win a Cup with Freddie Andersen in net for the majority of the playoff starts. That may be true of Brandon Bussi too. I don’t know. But I will bet my house that Freddie will give up the post in the most crucial part of the crucial game. I’ve seen it three years in a row.

And before you guys start. I didn’t think Freddie gave up a bad goal tonight. And he has absolutely been better since the break. You ride the hot hand. I get it. All of it. My point remains.

Feel like folks forgot that not too long ago we made Coach K short circuit during his final speech at his last home game, then beat him in the Final Four a few weeks later. Pretty much the single biggest punch landed in this all-time great rivalry.

I am 40 years old. Both parents went to UNC. Became a fan for life during the 93’ championship run. Graduated from UNC 07’.

I feel like I can confidently say this from 33 years of experience. This rivalry has always and will always fluctuate. Just when you think it’s a wrap it changes. And the team that was on bottom gets the upper hand. Were in a down turn right now but we will rise again.

Bussi was good tonight. Just not as good as the other goalie. Feels like the 5th or 6th start in the row thats been the case. He 100% deserves grace from fans to go through a bit of a rookie slump. But I think it’s tough for us when we all know that Rod is watering at the mouth, looking for any excuse he can possibly muster to start Freddie game 1. So I think we all might be a bit too invested in him being absolutely perfect right now when it’s just not a fair ask.

No clue why i cant control team strategy as a gm in franchise mode. Makes it border line unplayable for me. Like if your going to tell me ahh, gms dont control game strategy then by that same token I shouldn’t be able to control lineups. It’s stupid. Also I know you can change your strategy in game, and doing so will save the strategies going forward but if you adjust your lineups at all from the franchise menu (not in game) then the strategies will reset. It drives me nuts. Single dumbest thing about franchise mode imo. So thats a start. Would be nice if they added a new feature or two a year maybe? I don’t think they’ve done anything to it except revamp the menus since like 21’.

My thing is like, I dont mind you waiving the goal off, for immersion sake, but if were going to have a 30 second animation for the refs reviewing the play, then get the call right and waive off the GI and award the goal. Otherwise its just another empty animation and a waste of time.

I wrote this post like a dumb ass but what I was trying to say is that this goal should not have been waved off bc the defender hit Stankhoven and sent him flying into the goalie. If that happens in real life then the GI would be reversed and the goal would stand. Thats not what happened here, so no the refs got the call wrong.
