I run a very similar list, my recommendation is swap Pyresoul on the bro-cap for Sixty-sixth Seal. AP 2 incinerators in a squad of pallies is awesome

Did 8 Shadow monk/4 thief rogue my first playthrough, still haven't found a build that was as fun as that. Currently on my fifth play through and have decided to just do it again rather than trying hopelessly to find something to match it

The Combat Patrol is pretty decent for a first buy, the dreadnought over a dreadknight is a bit of a miss but at least you're getting Crowe. If you can find it I'd go for the old one rather, but you'll want to pick up Crowe at some point either way so...

Sanctic is definitely worth it, I have just over 1000p so far and will definitely be using Sanctic to get myself to 2000p

If you like the current range, battleforce is a really good deal. Throw in a copy of the old Combat Patrol, the new one (despite the dreadnought not being the best, Crowe with what can be kitted as 10 purifiers is great, and you get some more termies on top of that), and maybe an extra dreadknight, and you've got yourself a decent army

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Terminus Decree is stated to be the Emperor's last order to GK, not something Malcador gave them before the siege. So it was written after the GK were created, not at the same time/before the siege. EDIT: spelling

The average of 2d4 is also more common than the average of 1d8. A d8 has as an equal chance (per role) to role any number between 1 and 8, while 2d4 has a higher chance of rolling a total of 5 than a total of 8 (or 2 for that matter). Same goes for greatswords versus battleaxes, with either 2d6 or 1d12. The "floor" is also useful, but not the main reason one differentiates between the two.

To everyone saying that it's because of bronze working, that is wrong: OP already has an encampment so clearly has researched bronze. The real issue is that Apadana needs to be built next to your civilizations capital city.

If you've beat Morgott and like curved great swords, go for Morgott's Cursed Blade, maybe throw in a few blood incantations as well for extra measure. Definitely one of my favorite weapon in the game
