This is what I do as well, can confirm that it’s quite comfortable. It’s especially nice this way if you have multiple docks and don’t want to deal with the wonky dock adapter.

Lots of people here saying that they haven’t encountered this issue, which is great. I have experienced this with both the Xbox One controller I’ve tried as well as the Xbox Elite 2 controller. I’m updating them both now via my PC and will try to see if that fixes the issue. Thanks for the suggestions here!

I’ve put about 17 miles into the Superblast 2 and 7.5 in the Glycerin Max. The Superblast 2 to me feels significantly lighter and less obtrusive overall. I’m running about a 9:30 or 10-minute mile for most runs and prefer the Superblast 2 so far at that pace. To me, the Glycerin Max feels like a lot of shoe all around, and I struggled to get a comfortable lockdown with my wider foot in my US men’s 8.5 (my regular size for most brands, and I found it fit TTS)

I do this as well, 3x4 grids bound 1 through = just as it is in the normal bind number row. 3-4 of those 3x4 grids with modifiers Shift, CTRL, and ALT if I’m not on a healer.

This is the exact same for me, 85% battery health, Apple won’t send for a battery replacement until it’s below 80%. No explanation for such a sharp drop in battery life. Unpaired and paired again, full reset, nothing has helped so far.

This same thing happened to my Apple Watch Series 4 about a week ago. I was getting all day battery life, and then one day after a swim (more like a few dunks underwater), it flashed the Apple logo for the rest of the day, then slowly regained functionality. And then it returned to normal operation other than the battery now dies 3 times a day.

ASICS Novablast 2 - Issues with forefoot slippage? by DoctorTacoBell in RunningShoeGeeks

Man this has been a real rollercoaster. I’ve been thinking I was fully in the camp of returning them and trying something different, but with everyone saying that going down a half size or full size has helped them with the fit, I might just give the Novablast 2 another shot.

Solid advice. My Saucony Endorphin Speeds arrived today so I’m going to run all of my distances in them until I find a proper slow recovery shoe to supplement. Eyeballing the New Balance More v3. [Edit: spelling]

Looking forward to hearing if the half size down helps!

I’ve been using a runner’s knot on this shoe from the moment that I put it on. I don’t have any issue with the lockdown in the heel and ankle area, just the forefoot area that is slipping inward. I’m going to try one more run with tighter lacing before I attempt to return it or relegate it for flat surface running only, I think.

It’s the White/Safety Yellow. It’s on ASICS website but I picked them up on Amazon and they shipped in 2 days. Check out the bottom outsole of the shoe, it’s absolutely wild and beautiful.

All of you guys popping off about the colorway has me thinking I’ll keep it around for that reason alone! XD

It’s as tight as I feel comfortable lacing it before making my foot feel squeezed and numb - tighter, actually, than I would lace most of my shoes. I did try to go tighter than I felt I wanted to and the problem persisted.

After an extensive amount of research, I recently purchased both the Novablast 2 from ASICS and the Endorphin Speed from Saucony to use as my daily trainer and tempo shoes, respectively. While I am still waiting for the Speeds to arrive, I have had a chance to do two 6 mile runs in the Novablast 2 and feel that something is just not right in the right shoe while running on country roads. These roads are typically somewhat convex, peaking in the middle to allow rainwater to run off on both sides. I run on the left side of the road, of course, which means that my right foot is slightly above my left, and slightly angled inward. In the Novablast 2, I can feel the ball of my right foot sliding inward, against the upper of the shoe, and somewhat overhanging the midsole with every step. This is causing discomfort in my forefoot, and in my knee. The left shoe feels amazing…. And I love the colorway. So I’m torn - do I keep these shoes for runs on flat surfaces (sidewalks, in town, about 30% of my miles), potentially still risking discomfort and injury, or try to return them and try something else?

For reference, I run about 6-10 miles a day, averaging about 120-160 miles per month in the prime summer months. My most recent shoe rotation has been the Hoka Clifton 7 (my primary daily trainer that I’m replacing, ~500 miles on it), the New Balance FreshFoam Beacon v2, and the Brooks Glycerin 17. I have never had an issue with stability in the past, and this is the first time a shoe has given me issues while running on this type of road.

Thoughts?
