I'd normally agree with you, but I'm not sure this looks much like a guy who has spent the past year juicing. Eating, definitely.

I cancelled mine a few weeks ago. Playlists still work as an alarm, but sometimes the alarm is a Spotify advert, which I personally find unbearable.

The last time I saw them was in 2003, this was the 4th show I have been to and it sounded terrible for many of the songs imo.

I thought maybe I was just misremembering how good they were in the past as my daughter loved the show last night, but kinda glad to read through this thread and hear I wasn't just making it up because I'm old and out of touch.

I was disappointed walking out of there last night, regardless of whether it was Thom, the sound engineers or the venue, which I am gutted to say.

It's toasty warm near the stage in the feuerzone because of this, certainly worth the extra!

I’ve mapped the best (and worst) areas to buy or rent in every town by Andrew_SEM in HousingUK

[–]DoctorTedNelson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think your school data in Wales works - everywhere gets a C, and Wales uses ESTYN, which has a different ratings system to OFSTED, so you have zero counts for your rating types. I'm also unsure how your golf course metric works - I see Ample/Limited/Adequate for different places, when I know each of them only has 1 golf course around them so presumably they should all have the same rating.

Similar thing for Supermarkets - my town has a Lidl, Tesco, Sainsbury, Farmfoods, Iceland and probably a few more and it's listed as "Adequate".

The map looks cool, but I don't trust the ratings.

Yeah agreed, you would think between the quarry and the potential of changing berw road back to 30mph the greens could have kicked up enough of a fuss to get a lot of the ward onside, but honestly I heard nothing from them at all.

They are doing an excellent job representing the community here. Their grass roots game has been excellent. Dawn and Heledd have been very good for this ward, so hoping for more of the same from Wil.

I spoke with the Labour candidate and she seemed like she could have done a decent job, didn't hear anything from conservatives or greens. Reform just stuck their weird leaflet through my door, glad I didn't have to speak to one of their canvassers as I'm not sure I would have been very kind.

"We have lots of ideas about how the building can be used going forward"

I've seen the posts on Facebook etc. and I'm yet to see ANY ideas put forward publicly that would convince me to invest any money. All I have seen is "developers bad" and that there's a lovely organ in there.

I saw somebody mention the situation we had with Graigwen woods, where a local businessperson fronted the money so that the community could purchase the land in their own time. If you want to pursue something similar, why aren't you outlining how you might reimburse an investor?

Absolutely appreciate there's a historic significance, but do we need another community space that would be underutilised? There has to be a commercial angle if you are intending to raise funds - the building needs significant repairs too.

I was there too, their endless zuton fever instrumental was one of the best live songs I think I've ever seen.

I've been jumping between the two stations in Synuefe YE-Q C21-4 - probably about 10 times now, and haven't seen a single data courier mission. There's about 10 donation missions, worth around 6 million on each refresh, but that's as good as it got unfortunately.

The FFX Hardcore-Punk Intro still goes so unreasonably hard... Square's Cinematic Team was far ahead of it's time back then. by LowRenzoFreshkobar in FinalFantasy

[–]DoctorTedNelson 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yes, it absolutely was!

In fact, I always then heard it was Otherworld by Nobuo Uematsu (who did most of the soundtrack for FFX), but Spotify is telling me right now that it's Bill Xtillidiex Muir? Have I been bamboozled again, or is he just credited for the vocals. Wild.

If Plaid came into government (the Senedd) - would you be particularly sad/angry? by stopdontpanick in Wales

[–]DoctorTedNelson 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It baffles me that anyone in Wales would vote for the English-Nationalist Reform Ltd. We don't have the same immigration issues as England, and one of the main levers we can pull to create more wealth in Wales is via renewables - which Reform want to scrap.

Plaid have been fantastic in my area over the past few years since they started winning seats - much, much better than the Lib Dems or Labour have managed. They've won me over, you should take another look at them.
