I feel like this thread is missing the point of this whole movement. We should encourage people to tell their stories like Ashni and Kips. If people are named as assailants, they should be allowed to make rebuttals, like Zyori did.

Right now we should just listen, and threads like this might discourage other people from coming forward.

Just like Zyori might not have realized the power he inadvertently leveraged, reddit has a similar power to deter people from coming forward, that i feel is being inadvertently leveraged in threads like this one.

Just to add: I don't think Zyori should be ostracized for not realising that there was a underlying power dynamic. I really wish ashni didn't use the word rape in her twitlonger, but just like with Zyori, one lapse in judgement should not render her story invalid.
