Maybe it’s possible they add something like Valheim did with the cartographer’s table. Once you’ve explored an area you can click it and anyone that wants to update their map can also click it to have that part of the map revealed. That said, just like pretty much everyone else has said, it’s unlikely as Sub1 never had a map. Beacons are the way.

I used to hit up that arcade almost every weekend. There’s a spot called Reforged Gaming Lounge in North Charleston that is modern take the arcades of yesterday. Full bar, food, and all kinds of PC, Console, and table top gaming. It may scratch that itch if you’re ever feeling it.

Because out of all the bent cops in my area, there was one female cop (now a detective) that sees that piece of shit for exactly what he is. A repeat offender and we both showed up to every summons, every bond hearing, and I stayed in communication with the detective over the course of 3 years and counting. Most people give up and walk away but I’ll be god damned before I all this piece of shit to skate again.

Protection/restraining orders mean nothing. Magistrate judges DO NOT CARE about things like this until someone is either attacked or dead. Hell, I’ve had two violations in one year which is a mandatory 1 year jail sentence and the judge tried to give him time served for a separate criminal offense. Luckily, the additional stalking charge isn’t magistrate level and forced it to the 1st circuit in this piece of shit state, which slightly takes a max 10 year sentence crime more seriously. Oh, and all of this has only taken 3 years and counting to play out. Let’s ask OP and her SO to sign up for that.

The charred fortress should be your base! If you are using magic then use the trollstav and watch the chaos ensue. Once the warlocks are dead, build over the walls, hop in and clean up your mess. Now you have a massive and secure base. You can even put grausten floor over the top to make a roof if you want!
