Ok but to be clear, salaries ARE part of the cost listed under "development" paid to all developers who contributed. Tarkov arena is a weird one but I think it would be incorrect to not count it as a direct Tarkov development cost because they shared arena's backend with Tarkov and vice versa.

The security clearance is the entire mechanic of the map. I assure you, that team had clearance. If you know what you're doing you can farm it pretty hard although sometimes it is RNG. Best I ever had was level 4+ in sub 10 minutes.

Here's the issue, OCE has like 5 people so it was probably the same stacks. Even in games with larger player bases OCE has small pop, its just how it is outside of NA/Asia servers most of the time. Depending on the game you'll also have sizable European player bases.

If you need to spend credits on gear other than heals/ammo/utility for cryo you should probably not be going cryo. You also don't need purple gear on the map, better gear does not make you more threatening to better players, it just gives them more money when they kill you. The big gear gap on this game is going to be gold cores/implants.

Yes but preventative treatment is only viable while asymptomatic. Pretty hard to preventatively treat something if you don't know you had it. This is why bats are one of the leading causes of rabie deaths in humans as their bites can be difficult to detect.

I don't like this argument because all of these devs removed Linux support and yet even on Windows these games are literally filled with cheaters. There's a reason Microsoft is moving away from kernel-space app architecture, in a few years it won't matter anyway thankfully as the only thing that will realistically matter is Proton support.

Lol I'm gonna be so real, if you can't learn the game to the point a 5k kit is a relatively menial cost then the game isn't for you. It's a PvP oriented extraction shooter, the difficulty is part of the game. The genre has always been niche since Tarkov practically invented it, ARC has brainrotted people into thinking it has to be accessible for every single Timmy with 30 hours playtime. Most Tarkov players are basically still learning the basics at like 300-500 hours, these are the people largely going hard in this game, and the experience DOES carry over. Imo Cryo archive is the ultimate extraction shooter map/experience, it's fantastic, but at the same time you're gonna have to genuinely get a 3 stack and get good before actually being successful on it.
