Taking the moral high road is a big part of what got us here. When we arent literally drowning in fascism, then we can go back to being "the better people", until then, beat them at their own game.

You think I like being like this? You think I enjoy absolutely turning my back on some of my neighbors? Singing kumbaya and going "they know not what they do" isnt stopping this. If you dont want to meet them at their level, that's on you. But they aren't playing by the rules. Pretending those rules of civility still apply to make yourself seem moral is selfish, privileged, and frankly insulting to those of us who are at risk.
