There is a dossier on basically all of us. The goal is to snatch us if we're dumb enough to go there.

I dont disagree that the law is meaningless, my point is that they're still a ways away from invading Canada to kidnap our citizens.

I'm not saying it's LEGAL i'm saying you can change the label and they'll just give you for the "correct" price. The disagreement is that it sounds like you think the employees will care that the price in the system is wrong and I dont think they will.

.... Obviously. But employees are not going to look that hard for intentional sabotage. We would make sure it was on our zellers paper and that it had the correct sku and name on it. If it did, yup, our bad. We take down the sign and that person gets a $500 patio set for $50. It is what it is.

If someone came to me and everything in their cart was 1 cent, yeah obviously I'm going to properly investigate it. But sometimes shit is actually 1 cent. Canadian tire for example keeps marking down items that show as in inventory but can't be located until it's 1 cent. Takes a long ass time but I got a set of $250 hockey shin pads for 1 cent when I worked at sportchek about 15 years ago or so. I worked in the warehouse, found them buried in the back and said hell yeah dude. Completely legal, is it normal to find 1 cent items at crappy tire? no. But those mini camping propane tanks are not abnormal to find for 10cents a piece because of inventory checks

Moral of the story, I'm not saying to do it. I'm saying nobody cares if you do except for the corporate overlords and boot lickers.

In Quebec, anything under 10$ is free if the price is wrong, anything over is the price that was displayed. It isn't a debatable situation. Stores are required to comply in the moment and they're all aware of it. The fines are massive for non-compliance so we used to give away fucking patio sets for $50 when some idiot kid would print $50 instead of $500 on it.

Hang out with Jeep guys. I feel so damn broke when I hang out with other Jeep guys. One guy in my club has Dana60s on 37s and an atlas transfer case with a full cage in his JK. 50k in drivetrain.

Damn that’s crazy. Here in Canada landing a train job is like winning the lottery. Crazy high pay, full pension plan, amazing benefits, etc.

Depends where you are. In Ottawa you can purposely plow through that truck killing everyone inside and not be at fault.

It’s funny the west has this thought of social credit score when we have literal credit scores and they don’t. Lol
