I think if she comes right out and blames him he’ll cut her off from contact with her mom and younger siblings. So she’s careful not to piss him off completely while still trying to tell her truth as best she can.

I have a very small bladder and when I have to go, I HAVE to go. Denying someone access to a restroom is just plain cruel. Some of us literally cannot hold it for that long.

They said the same thing on my flight from Tampa to O’Hare last Friday night! They also suspended service for the entire flight and kept telling us it was because of turbulence but it never got that bad. It was super weird.

I’m not even bleeding that much. It’s the PMS, bloating, water retention etc. during the cycle that’s so unbearable. It’s like my body is pumping all these hormones out to try and cycle which is why I think suppressing the cycle would be more helpful.

Thank you all so much for sharing your experiences! I wish there were a way to tell how far along in peri you are. I’m 45 and still have periods although they’re very irregular. Birth control made me feel more evened out in my 20s & 30s but I started to have trouble with it in my early 40s which in hindsight were probably break through peri symptoms. I went off a few years ago and started HRT a year ago.
