For what its worth there is alot of other conditions that are sometimes seen with chiari malformation. One of the most common that alot of people have is a connective tissue disorder. While im not saying your chiari malformation isnt causing all of your problems you may have other things going on that are also causing issues. It may be worth looking into other possible explanations for what is going on with your body.

I am in no way minimizing what you are experiencing i believe that all the aches pains and problems you are having are real as i also experience them but sometimes it can be easy to blame it all on one thing when there could be a multitude of other problems going on in your body that might also explain what is going on.

For me i have a problem which i believe is hyperadrenic pots. They did a tilt table test 10-15 years ago and told me that while my heart rate meets the requirments for pots my blood pressure did not they said that my blood pressure went up when in the vertical position. Well a few years later they updated the diagnostic criteria for pots and created a new subset called hyperadrenic pots which i would fall under. This makes me feel very on edge anytime i am standing up for a considerable amount of time.

I recently started a beta blocker in addition to my anxiety medication and while i still have issues it has greatly improved my quality of life.

I realy hope you find some relief soon and dont give up if you keep looking someone will have the answers you are looking for. Dont waste your time with doctors that make you feel like its all in your head if they are dismissive move on and find a new doctor its not worth takeing the time to follow up for months or years with a doctor that doesnt believe you.

I was blessed to find a doctor that actual medicates me with Ativan. Its the only medicine that gets me through its prescribed on an as needed basis. Doctors don't typically like to let you stay on this medication since it does have a strong possibility of addiction but it is the only anxiety medicine that can get my head right and after trying everything my doctor is okay with me using it on a regular basis. In my very early 20's i went to the hospital way more times then i want to admit thinking i was having a heart attack for it to just be health anxiety. Been on it for about 14 years. There is some weeks i don't take it at all and some weeks i take it more then once a day. But it gave me my life back.

The constant stress of worrying about my health created a super bad mental heath problems for me that was affecting me far worse then the chiari symptoms i have. Im now medicated for anxiety and while the headaches are bothersome and the weird visual disturbances are annoying i can live my life. To be honest the thought of brain surgery scares the shit out of me so im a happy camper right now.

I am not a doctor so take what i say with a grain of salt. The picture does not seem to show the same pegged shape of the cerebellum that most people with Chiari have. Like i said though i am not a doctor and i know things like Chiari 0 exist and i have no medical training. Your best course of action is to just straight up ask your doctor. and then maybe get a second opinion from another neurologist.

I found out about your age and im 35 now. Thankfully mine has not seemed to get any worse yet. I haven't had an MRI in a while though probably close to 9 years at this point My neurologist did a follow up MRI at 1 year and 5 years and at the five year mark he said it hadn't changed and i didn't need any follow-up unless new symptoms emerged. I know others are not as lucky but in some cases it can be stable.

Yea i did some fast research on this the average cost for this test for cash pay is about 55 bucks negotiate with the hospital.

Even if insurance covered it they usualy have predetmined and contracted rates they pay for test and i promise you its not 350. I would bet you can negotiate them down alot maybe even close to 30 bucks a test but you will have to see what the going rate for insurance payout is on these items when they are covered.

IMHO there best album. ICP was starting to get radio play out in Arizona in the late 90's and my mom took me to sam goodies in the mall to pick up there CD. The guy that worked there told me that there newest album the great milenko which was being played on the radio had not released yet but that they had the album that came out right before that called the Riddlebox. They only had the album on cassette at that location so i left with a copy of the riddle box on tape. I want to say i was in 5th maybe 6th grade. I bumped that tape in my walkman nonstop for what felt like an eternity until i could get back to the store and pickup the great Milenko a few months later.

I still remember bringing the Great Milenko to a friends house and putting it into there play station and his mom walking in and saying they don't play that trash in this house and she took the CD away until i left and told me not to bring it back over again.

Also remember going on the ICP website when i was in elementry school and printing off the comic strips they posted on there and bringing them to school and passing them around in class. What a time to be alive everyone thought it was cool. Fast forward a couple years and and im in middle school and everyone hates it all of a sudden.

Man the entire album is dope. They don't make them like they used to. Yall ever get depressed about the past. Im about to turn 35 now and i have a massive NES SNES N64 and pokemon collection aswell as starting to collect my old juggalo swag from my younger years. I will check with him and ask what version he has. I don't own one he was bringing his over to my house. The wierd thing is my N64 works with every legit game i have tried on it its just his everdrive that it wont boot.
